Insideout91 has a valid point, which they raised politely.
Considering a performer's background and politics, if they're known, provides important context when you're deciding whether you want to watch a drama. It might not matter to you, or to others, but it does matter to some.
It's not that I drop a show so much as it's I get a little bored, start watching something else, and then sort of don't ever come back to the first show. Lately, I've started watching shows in sections, and that's been working out pretty well. That's how I watched "Lady of Law"-- the first five, then episodes 13-25, then 36-40.
The subs of this drama are . . . . challenging. I'm really glad it's getting subbed, but I wish it was being done by someone with a firmer grasp of English personal pronouns. I know Mandarin is non-gendered language, and I wish English was, too, to be honest, but it isn't. The default personal pronoun in this show is "he", which is a huge pain in the butt for a drama where the cast is mostly women.
But the annoying subs aside, I really like it. There's a strong sexy vibe that's refreshing, and the ML is as adorable as puppy. If I were her, I'd teach him how to kiss, though. (I'll do it for free.)
Now if only I could understand what the heck these legal cases are about.
This is an under-rated Cdrama, and although the ending is too soft and a bit vague, show is still much better than an average Cdrama. This is not fluffy, but it's not as smart as it wanted to be -- a very good representation of a FL who is both strong and good, and a ML who starts out like a prick, and later gets a solid redemption arc. Well-worth seeing.
Warning: Unpopular opinion follows! FL's character is a virtual clone of the character in "Koi Wa Tsuzuku". If there are another 5 Jdramas starring this FL, she'll be playing the same cute, wide-eyed, earnest, kind, enthusiastic nincompoop. I'm beginning to think if you've seen one of her shows, you've seen 'em all.
She don't need no men to create magic, in the entire series up till now, I never felt the urge to see ML. Now…
In books, poems, dramas, love isn't selfish. In real life, love is the most selfish thing in the universe. Doesn't excuse crazy jealousy, obsessive stalking or any of the other pathologies that's associated with "love", but day to day, average love relationships, love is selfish as all get out.
Show takes a very long time to get anywhere, but you might not care about that very much because of the characters. Seven Tan is her usual pleasure to watch (not Meryl Streep, you know, but she does alright) and Kenny is fun, too.
"Little Women" remade as a Kdrama is a really interesting idea. Many original story details will be changed, obviously, but I hope the Kdrama also keeps the heart of this quintessential American coming of age novel. I absolutely wouldn't miss this.
I don't care about your opinion, I am free to watch whatever I want even if I knew it wasn't going to be to my…
My word. I disagreed with your review, I said why, and I did so politely. You, on the other hand, are quite rude.
No one said you weren't entitled to an opinion. Of course you are, and MDL has given you the space to express it. People who disagree with you aren't telling you to shut up: they're saying they disagree with what you said. They're entitled to their opinion, too.
I thought the cast did an excellent job, playing their parts sincerely. Also, I thought the writer(s) treated BDSM respectfully and knowledgeably.
Certainly, the content is not to everyone's taste, but it wasn't intended to be. If you know the content isn't going to be to your taste, maybe watch something else that is.
On the whole, I thought the film was charming and very endearing, and that's pretty surprising for a movie with such a controversial theme.
I liked it and it's a pleasure to watch it, but (and this is probably the only time I ever thought this), this show is missing enough content to fill another 8 or 10 episodes. The story is good enough to have gotten some actual story telling, you know?

Jeepers. It's fine to disagree--or even disagree a lot and loudly, but there's no need to call people names because they have a different opinion than you do. Let's not be mean to each other, yes?
BL is not my genre, but a good drama is just a good drama, no matter who, and no matter what.
