I'm on episode 30 of this 20 episode drama. I'm like a blind squirrel, desperately searching for the acorn that has to be here somewhere but isn't. All 40 episodes are about the same thing, and the characters are bad people--not bad, like entertainingly bad, but bad, like manipulative power users. I'm so exhausted, I don't think I care enough to even skip to the last episode to see how it ends.

If you're wondering whether you should invest 50 hours of your life to watch this, maybe just hit your finger with a hammer instead. It would hurt less.

And it started out so interestingly, too.

I get your frustration--it's extremely irritating to start a show at a site, watch 4 or 5 episodes, and then the subber stops, or the site crashes, or the subber puts their work behind a paywall or password.

But it's too bad. The subbers do this work because they want to, not because they have to, and it's really important to be grateful for what they give you. Imagine how you'd feel if people demanded something from you, acting like you owe it to them, and then don't give you anything in return except more demands. It's would be pretty rude, wouldn't it? And if someone ripped off the work you did and then offered it like it was their own, you'd be really angry about it, wouldn't you?

Anytime someone does the work for us and asks nothing from us in return except courtesy and respect, we owe them gratitude. If they stop, or they get DMCA'd, or they want to start charging for their work, those are the breaks--they still don't deserve any trash from us.

That's how I feel about it, anyway.

Somewhat typical fluffy Cdrama romcom, featuring one of the best looking ML's I've ever seen in my life (but oddly styled--I mean, in one episode, he's wearing a standard pearl necklace. I can't say I've ever seen a straight male character who wasn't in drag wearing pearls before, but you know. Keepin' it fresh. Or something.) Anyway. Getting back to the ML's hotness, I think all can agree that any scene without him is just a waste of electrons.

Liked this quite a lot. This is a good example of one of the types of dramas that are done so well by Japan--sweetly risque, a bit erotic, adult(ish), unusual without being strange,

I'm not sure a film with BDSM should be so endearing :-) These actors did a lovely job with such controversial material.

So every 6 minutes, the show's continuity is interrupted to buffer and load the next episode. What a nuisance.

My. That trailer, though. Nobody does a trashy lakorn like GMM25. There's going to be so much going on in this show, you won't even need subs. You just look at who's sleeping with whom and then gets stabbed later. Wouldn't miss it for anything.

That took me a long time to get used to. A Thai speaker should correct us if we're wrong, but my understanding is that in polite speech, you refer to yourself by your name and not with a personal pronoun, although I only hear this from women's speech and not men's.

I'm liking the first episode a lot (except for being horrified by the idea of burying widows alive with their dead husbands, which is freaking me the hell out). Looking forward to moving far away from this plot device in the next episode.

maybe put that under the "spoiler" tag? Because the one thing we don't need is for AG to get trouble and have to take down their site.

Does anyone know if Netflix is going to air the third season? Usually when a series is getting another season, Netflix makes an announcement ahead of time, but they haven't said a thing about it (yet?) How annoying it would be, to have watched the first two seasons on Netflix and they blow off the third.

Thanks to all who've commented about the abuse of a horse in this show. I find on-screen animal abuse unbearable. If I'd come across that scene unaware, it would have shaken me up pretty badly.

My goodness, this show is stacked with scheming heinous bitches (except for the sainted FL, of course.)

I think "All of Us are Dead" and "Squid Game" are really great titles. They're memorable, and they make you curious about the shows. Cdrama titles are tougher, since their titles seem to be translated so literally.

If you look at MDL's top-rated shows list for Cdramas, all of the first 20 titles are really good. ("Sword Snow Stride" and "Sweet Teeth" are iffy, though.)

I think one of the worst Cdrama titles I'd ever seen was "About is Love", but it's still better than "Memory of Encaustic Tile". Even after I looked that one up to find out what the hell "encaustic tile" was, I still had no interest in watching a show that's about tiles. (And the show isn't about tiles, really--but that's another reason why the title is so bad.)
