This Zhou Sheng Chen seems a more smiling one. Can''t wait to watch this.

I thought it was ok but the ep1 piled too many things and some things were unclear, some were illogical and something was a total anachronism. Ep2 is better.

The demon is the god of death. He was sealed into Ha Ram's body with a butterly seal which disappeared after he met Hong Chun Ki. Now the demon took over the control of the body (temporarily I guess) and he wants his eyes (Ha Ram's eyes) back so he can unleash his full power.

I don't care about their money. It is not mine. I only know I loved this drama.

Looks like a lot of fun. I hope it does not disappoint.

He is the one who placed the child emperor on the throne and they had a special bond. So it was his responsibility to save him and save his generals as he failed to anticipate the trap. What ShiYi did is her own choice like he made his choice.

Sun Ho's family will be targeted but they must give a major blow to the illegal gambling ring first. Like identifying one key member. Making students part of the ring would be prejudiciable to the image of the Police cadets. It would be like any Police student can become a thug for silly reason such as jealousy. Also for the thugs, having Police University students involved is too risky for them. They need "professionnals". I don't think it will be the case. But let's see...

Considering his reaction, it must be someone he knows well and would not be suspicious of. My bet is on the chief of police station he used to work for.

1) Maybe he is involved and they decided put pressure on Cheol Jin to get rid of Dong Man and then they throw him under the bus?
2) Maybe he is not involved but he is hidding something with Hee Soo and I suspect her so maybe he is.
3) Baek Hee is not involved for me. Nothing really pointing at her. She looks too obssessed by the rules to deviate from them.
4) Pub owner is a minion in the ring for sure or he is National security.
5) Hee Soo is too clean and too nice to be true. Maybe she is the leader taking over after her husband?
6) Min Kyu is an a$$ but I doubt he is part of the illegal gambling ring.
7) I keep thinking Dong Man's supervisor at the Police station is not clean.

Probably it is too soon to be able to identify the culprits.

He was so obssessed by her and scared she would know the truth he treated her like a beautiful bird trapped in a cage. Probably he also thought it would not matter if she ended knowing the truth. After all he is the Emperor. If she is not happy, he could always have her killed. The guy was a nutcase.

I am ok with the way Zhou Sheng Chen was brought to death. It is better than a hit on the head with a stick or a dagger in the back. He endured it with courage facing his enemies while they were doing their worst. It made me like him more.

He did not really intend to kill the Crown Prince. The Second Prince schemed and staged the whole thing so he can go meet Il Wol Seong (Ha Ram) to test is abilities, his insights and try to see his real face. But he is the one who got owned this time.

Since a young age Zhou Sheng Chen was a person or principles and he lived his life governed by these principle. To live and fight for the Emperor, for his family, for the people. He made a vow of celibacy and to never have children and he keep it until the end. The Gods gave him someone he fell in love with and he took care of her without calling this "Love". He is a great man for having lived through all this most honorably and his only regret is that it meant to fail the woman he loved. I found his demise quite terrible but in the end, because the Emperor he saved that day is restored, The truth will be known and it will add to his greatness and his legend.

ShiYi was ready to do her duty. She was decided to help her family and spare her master from dangerous rumors so I did not think she would kill herself. She was in love with him but she was ready to accept her fate and she was dutiful enough to obey the Imperial edict. Until she learnt the truth and received that blood letter with her master's last words. Then she knew he truly loved her and died unjustly and she could not marry the man who had him killed. So she chose to kill herself and to go find her lover. She would wait for him to come marry her in another life.

I agree it is a form of happy ending. I was sad but I am also happy to see they are reunited. Even if it is that way.

It found it is very good and self sufficient as a love story. But ok, I will still watch the second leg to see what happens.
