I tossed it aside when I found this one 😂😆 Thailand always priority for me.
I feel you. I think the set up of this story can trigger a very nice Lakorn but I will watch the JP version to the end before I watch the TH version. The danger is the propensity to compare when watching. It spoils the experience. I will make sure I see this one afterwards for sure!
Personally I like this show. I don’t understand why all the negative reviews? The acting and chemistry was top…
The bad reviews are not because he is a player. It is because he is described as a manipulative freak and everyone wanted to have his backstory and see him grow as a person but no, it just ends with a nonsensical love at first sight stunt. It disappointed so many people.
The overall rating fell from 8.1 to 7.6 between 9th ep. and last ep. I have never seen such a slump because of one final ep.
Sol was a great character. Arguably the best character of the drama. But Ji wan was totally immature. I agree the drama should have had a little bit more courage. It should have showed a clear scene of them getting together as a couple and becoming official. This arc of narration looked half baked in the end.
Because Jae Eon did not change at all. Not one bit. When looking at them walking away, making jokes and she said "No more butterflies for you", I had the feeling Jae Eon was going to turn back looking at me with a smirk...
Not as good as korean version. Chinese version's male lead acted as emotionless wood. I skipped many scenes of…
I can't agree more with that. CN version was pulled down by the ML who was just a woodenface and could not make himself be endearing. It was to the point I did not care if he gets the girl or not so I dropped the drama a few eps before the end.
I haven't seen the Korean or Chinese version, but am really enjoying this one. Jdrama remakes always bring their…
This jdrama makes the story shorter but it is not messy or erratic. It goes to the essential. It is intense and a roller coaster of emotions. Ep 7 was so good.
I don't get why this drama gets hated so much, I have no idea about the webtoon so I can only judge based on what…
Many people feel cheated by the ending. The "love at first sight" that Jae Eon sold to Na Bi, in a very schemed way, does not convince at all.
Na Bi is swayed by Jae Eon's confessing throught drawings of her he made in her sketchbook. Thought them, he was telling her "this is the great moment I fell in Love with you" : The moment she was totally humiliated watching a sculpture of her naked bending over and spreading legs showing her butt to everyone like she is a sex object. The question is: How can Na Bi be swayed by that? The great moment for Jae Eon is the worst moment of her life.
Furthermore, if it is true that he fell in Love with her at that moment, how come he behaved so badly with her afterwards when they met again. His behavior had nothing to do with the one of a man in Love. More the one of a manipulative freak. Is this how you treat someone you are in Love with?
Some people are happy to see them together in the end so they try to find every narrative and justification to this contradicting, incoherent ending. Truth is this is just a poor stunt from the writer to make an conventional happpy ending not believable at all.
For me, Na Bi is not really toxic but she sure likes toxic guys instead of good guys. This is the most disappointing…
I guess we all have our own sensibility which makes our own perspective to view a fact and the details of this fact. At least we agree they are very immature persons.
This is the best episode so far. Its everything I want and more. I do feel for Higuchi too he has some serious…
Higuchi looks too young. I don't know why they chose to make him so different compared to the CN and KR version (dropped after a few eps). He is not manly enough, has his haircut completely messy, wears no suit but fashionable colorful clothes... Probably it is a choice of the production to have a different SML and maybe they will give him a totally different direction too but so far I can't take him seriously. He looks like a playful student trying to hook up with a noona.
Should I wait to binge watch it or start watching now?
It's not the kind of complex drama with slow pace and huge cliffhangers. Each week gives enough progression to not feel it is draggy and the cliffhangers do not make the wait unbearable. It's entertaining and can be used as relaxing watching of the week.
I like this serie. This kind of fast paced police buddy movie style is entertaining. It helps balancing with other dramas that are very cheesy romance or very melodrama. The romance is fun and cute so far even if I wish Kang Hee would take a bigger part in the investigation.
So far my bet for the bad guys:
- the old man leading the university - the Judo teacher - the owner of the restaurant - Yu Dong Man's ex (and new) colleague - The chief of police Yu Dong Man's ex boss.
