So probably we won't have a happy ending. It's fine as long as it is not a stupid nonsense wtf ending (Goodbye my princess) but a logical one ( Mulan Rise of a warrior).

I too was annoyed with her attitude at first because she was playing her playboy character in a rude manner. But after ep 5 the pace changes and she reveals herself to be more fun and smart. So far ep 12 it is entertaining with endearing characters and good action.

Ep 12 . This is getting better and better. A more complicated but also cute relationship between the two leads. More action for a good intrigue. New characters and more character's development. Lots of funny scenes too. This drama is refreshing.

She has been raised and living as a boy and the heir of her family. It is a duty she is willing to carry with all the necessary obligations.

She not only looks like a man she behaves like a man because she wants to think herself as a man and the heir of her family. At first I was annoyed by her plaboy's games but now I can see she is a great character and I kinda pity her to have to live like that.

In this drama Mookda's character is pretty impressive. She has fast development from fresh gratuate from high school to a strong woman helping her family business.

There is also attempt rape in Marn Bang Jai and in Prom Pissawat... sad to see Lakorn love so much to promote this culture of rape. In both cases the evil wanna be rapist is a thug who is infatuated with the main girl and schemes a plan to have her. So cliché. I also hope this useless drama trope disappear from Lakorn.

Mitra will not marry the Dr Traitor. I don't think her dad will pressure her too much for that because he loves his daugher and I don't see any Love triangle involving him as she clearly does not like him. There is more chance of a love triangle with Gun, Parin's best friend.

I hope they won't use the kids too much. In Marn Bang Jai, the little girl was only there to serve as a bridge between Lada and Than. I agree the way he will treat them can win points for himself in the eyes of Mida. He will redeem himelf with good actions and not only begging for forgiveness. Maybe he will leave his father's Group and side with her.

Yes they pushed the revenge narrative so far it was painful to watch and I thought they reached the point of no return. Probably you can never reconcile after that or surely not so easily. I hope this one won't be like that.

I hope Parin does not try to take away the children and wage a war against Mitra and becomes very nasty to her like in Autumn concerto.

He used to find girls and take them to bed when they are half drunk. He said it himself. Handsome and wealthy and successful like him, he should have better ways to find girls. Surely he was not a very decent guy and he needs to prove himself a good man now.

I agree they should stop promoting these kind of situation which makes rape appear common place and something you can do. They do not even need this to make a drama entertaining and interesting.

Parin did not loose much so I would hardly call him a victim. Or he is the victim of being a jerk. He noticed her during the day but did not take his chance to go talk to her. Instead he waited for the night and Pam to convince him of a rotten scheme and he paid for her. Follow the money. You will find the real culprit. I give him no excuse.

He noticed she probably never did it before so he thought it was OK to do it without condom.

Another fun and informative article. Thanks. I dropped this drama after two episodes. I thought the female lead was stupid to take all this bullying without responding. At a certain point, she even accepts physical attacks. And the main guy failed to look sympathetic to me. His bad atttitude cannot be justified by difficulties in his childhood. After reading your article, maybe I will give it a new chance.

Hehe no doubt he liked her before he agreed to scheme a plan to have her but regarding Love I don't think he loved her or else he would not have done what he did to her. I believe he started to be obsessed and love her only after the night he took advantage of her.

Not sure his mother can talk some sense into his brain but I hope she will come back to Thailand soon. It will bring some additional spice surely.

He saw her as more than just another girl only after he noticed she could be a virgin and still he did it with her and in the morning he had confirmation she was a virgin. His new way of seeing her and the reason he could not forget her and looked for her was because of his own guilt because he misjudged and mistreated her.

He was too much of a jerk so he would not see the real beauty. I think because he was used to find girls this way, he just thought ok, another one to have fun with and forget in the morning. And he did not even had to buy her drinks himself.

I watched this Lakorn while it was airing and subbed. I find you very generous with it but ok it is your assessment halfway through. No matter what, I had great fun reading your article as it was nicely written and fun. Loved your presentation of the characters especially Tai and Soisoun.

Parin is a complete jerk. Or at least he was. Remember when he went to meet Mitra at her offices. He told her she is no different from the other women he met: once they are drunk it always ends in bed. That means he is used to women like that and to take them to bed even if they are half drunk. He was a jerk. Because only jerks do like that. Especially the ones who are already rich and successful.

What I don't understand is why he did not try harder for Mitra. I mean if you meet someone you like, you surely wish that person is different and special and you will make sure of it yourself. He sure has a lot to do for her to forgive him .

I don't think Mitra will have any feelings for Gun. It is obvious the guy will be infatuated with her and become a close friend but nothing more for her.
