I think I made it perfectly clear that it wasn't my cup of tea and I couldn't understand the high rating; the fact that the Netflix logo was on it was a warning sign for unnecessary depravity to be inserted, but if they bought the final product and didn't commission it, the series wouldn't have been subject to their "inclusion" and LGBT demands anyway.
For the record: I've met producers who have told me that Netflix have these demands for content... which has absolutely nothing to do with the normalisation of LGBT and the attacking of traditional Western values to corrupt minds. I was just massively underwhelmed by it, to be honest. There were quite a few Taoist kung-fu films in the '80s and even more recent Andy Lau stuff that this clearly draws inspiration from, but it had nowhere near as good action or atmosphere (the kung-fu stuff had the fights; Andy Lau and those scripts brought the vibes).
At the end of the day, life's too short to keep watching something in the HOPE that it gets better.
