I've watched 2 dramas of him in this last few days. First one was "psychopath diary", second one was "you raise me up".
I liked his style, when he is acting, I think he thinks if I was in this situation how would I react, and plays the role that way. I find his acting really natural. When I watch him I can relate easily, it suits me. Thanks for the good work !
I'm gonna keep watching his dramas, love from Turkey :)
"Marriage, Not Dating" was too simple and so much prolonged than necessary... I won't give another chance to this writer. He should try to respect viewers intelligent. Story wasn't interesting, and it was cliche and one leveled...
I'm at the 15th episode right now, if I want to say anything other than this I'll edit this comment.
Imo this kdrama is prolonged unnecessarily, If I was at the beginning of this drama I wouldn't spare my time to watch this. Not because I didn't liked the characters but simply quality was below my bare minimum: -It was prolonged so much. It doesn't need more than 10 episode to say the same story, and episodes are 1 hour long... -Story was simple and wasn't interesting enough. It was just a love story that families and situations hindered it along the way.... Shortly: I see this as a waste of my time. I didn't watch a lot of kdrama, this was my sixth, and this is obviously the lowest quality of them...
"There are like always some holes in drama storylines (from my experience so far) but this drama barely had any." -Yes I thought that too. And I liked how they keep connected the old events to new events and showed causation between events with so much clearity during all episodes.
"She brings out the ML out of his solitary place and could be seen as his 'saviour' (why always the ladies though? xD)." -I liked a female saviour. I don't know if this concept is popular in korean tv series but in westerns productions (that I watch more than korean tv series), male is always the saviour. It is a nice to see that it is female who is the saviour. But also she got something from ML too. She didn't have confidence before him.
You've mentioned some other good aspects too. Keep writing reviews...
Finished it in 3 days. absoulately loved it. Funny, romantic, sad/dramatic, heartwarming...
And we are all somewhat similar to the main character. When comes it comes to trusting to people. Ofcourse some of us had more betrayal in their lifes and therefore more similar to main character...
But I think this is what is good about korean tv series. They say the story they want to say and end the episodes…
Wow, 1000-2000 episodes is insanely long. Like you I would prefer short but high quality tv series instead. While I was watching I thought their mother would have more scenes too. I didn't guess then but they may be cut few scenes out from the series while editing, or skipped shooting the some scenes . That's very observant of you...
Yes, I'm from Turkey. I didn't know turkish series is being broadcasted there, I like that nations and people around the world is getting to know each other. Espacially in these days, while that war is happening between Ukraine and Russia... Loves to Indonesia <3
aaah shame that it only has 13 episodes. i want to know more of Samantha and the part time girl, also both Hwioh…
But I think this is what is good about korean tv series. They say the story they want to say and end the episodes withouth unnecessarily prolonging the story with nonesense. In my country 1 episode is 2 hours long and they shoot like 50 episodes at avarage... And they prolong it too much. (instead of 30 minute 13 episodes) They would make this 2 hour 30 episodes at least..
Shortly, I think korean producers usually knows the correct length and episode numbers...
I didn't agree with some of the subtexts. But overall it's a good drama. I laughed sometimes, and cried sometimes and felt warmth of their relationship sometimes. And also I got angry at some scenes especially first three episodes and nineth episode...
You should give it a try! Don't quit before watching fourth episode. first three episode is little different from the rest of the series...
And I love hove it has other topics than just love in this series. topics by quantity: 1) love 2) mental health 3) crime 4) few fight-action scenes
I won't watch second season due to cast change. Most important bad thing about this tv series is that cast changes at dr romantic 2. And that is a turn off...
It had some good concepts. About family, about being happy, about putting your own oxygen mask first... About relationships... About taking responsibility...
I absoulately loved it. This is my third korean tv series that I've finished. I laughed, I cried and it made me think sometimes. Good work guys, hats of to the writer!
