Okay. I am going to rant! The whole story is filled with lies! Un Nyun / Kim Hye Won (FL) character is so lifeless. Here are the reasons: Her brother wanted her to be happy? Lee Dae Gil (ML for me) was crying for his dad to pardon her but he thought that was enough to kill him too although he knew that they both love each other’s. Any man would jump into the fire to save their love, so the woman, I believe. This is the 1st lie.
FL's brother forced her to marry an old noble when he believed that all noble were beast/unmoral. Why not find someone at her age who love her, who is good and who is not a noble? Why did FL agree to marry him if she can't forget the ML? He himself, didn't even marry anyone! The second lie.
Why didn't she even try to find ML's tomb for once after becoming noble??? Isn't ML name infamous? Even if his name was known for being a bad person, she should still hope it was him. 3rd lie.
FL thinking of going on an unknown journey in that time is just plain stupid. She was basically looking forward to terrible dead. How is that a promise to her brother that she will be happy? Why didn't she hate her brother for killing her lover? Even if she didn't hate him, she should be able to live separately from her brother now that they were rich. 4th lie.
FL met Song Tae Ha (2nd ML) on a journey and who obviously lied to her that he was not a runaway slave. She didn't like to be with runaway slave but she went on a journey with a liar and then, fall for him. Okay. Where is the logic! Her heart was at ML as she was holding a rock in her hand always. How is it possible for her to see someone new and let someone else into your heart? She also said that all that a woman needed was for her lover to love her and true. She didn't stay true to ML. 5th lie.
The writer is just plain biased to 2nd ML! This whole story was written in favour of him. Song Taeha is a hypocrite, a possessive person and a liar. Here are why: He wanted to create better world when he thought he was the sky and the slave the earth. 1st lie.
He said that he will protect royal grandson but he was not going to committing treason. How on earth is that possible when he only wanted to create better world with grandson instead of the crown prince? Why not create better world with the crown prince while protecting grandson too? 2nd lie.
The cost of so many death was due to Song Taeha (ST) not killing Hwang Cheol Woong even after knowing that he killed his master. He is like, 'Yeah. I am a good guy and my moral is so high.' This is just plain stupid for me. 3rd lie.
ST was always hopping that his comrades and old friendship will help royal grandson and made better world without anything great plan. 4th lie.
He was on a journey to make a better world and it was a dangerous one. Why would you pull someone else (FL) into your journey especially when you love her? He was just putting her in danger! This showed how possessive he is. 5h lie. I just hate these kind of ML or characters.
Finally, Lee Dae Gil (ML) was obsessed with FL but I could understand him because he didn't get a closure yet. He is dumb at finding FL in my opinion because he didn't give out his picture on the poster. The poster should have FL and ML picture and a quote that say, 'I forgive you.' If you can't find her, let her find you. gee... You have to put out a bait. Don't you know that ML! Why did he pay more to guard than putting out a reward to whoever find her? I thought he didn't like gov workers. The story started with him being wise but he couldn't figure out that the baby wasn't hers and that FL & 2nd ML weren't married when he finally found her location? If he was going to be pathetic after FL & 2nd ML got married, why not just tell her that he had been finding her for ten years when he finally found her! Instead of misunderstanding the situation and being pathetic later on. Just be pathetic and get her heart back! Even if he didn't get her back, at least, he fought for her to the end and he might get a closure. Now, he just let her to him and being pathetic! When you get a closure, it isn't hard to let go! In conclusion, the writer filled the story with lies and lied to all the viewers and only get the most attention by maintain ML and FL longing for each other’s. I feel that I have wasted my 24 hours on this drama and I am very disappointed. Writing this is also a waste of time but I must rant to let go. Bye!!!!!!!
WHY! Hwang Cheol Woong let go of Song Taeha but not Daegil? He could have let him pretend to be dead. Before the ending, Daegil should have been able to find love on someone else. After 10 years of missing Daegil, FL was able to fall in love with someone else in a short time. Why is it not possible for ML? He still got his bros and he had found her and helped them. He has got closure so it doesn't make sense that he won't fall in love with someone else in the future. Song Taeha is more wounded than ML at the last fight but he survived? I thought ML wouldn't die cos I skipped to the end; I saw him shooting invisible arrow to the sun. But he died before like 3 minutes of ending. I am very disappointed as a result.
I mean considering how he acts when watching the drama... I think its a test too

I am dumbfounded by Zhao Song ******* the woman he had love for centuries, ML stills having strength to make out when he is near death & the worst of all, these foxes became the real stupid fox after they lose power (pls use CG instead). Every start of the ep, they showed that these foxes are wise, have three wings and can fly (didn't see any of them flying for once!). The most shocking thing is the ending! Zhao Song believed that Qinahu liked him just like that at the end?! How did the ML gone missing when the two foxes are with Xiao Ju? Xiao Ju's triangle didn't even have an ending! Dramas! Pls write a great ending! So, even if there are plot holes, the viewers can still enjoy or get closured! Now, I felt like I have wasted 50% of my times while some parts are fun.
One thing I hate about ML is that he would rather let his family suffers than his heaven and earth society's members. They are inconsiderate to him and his family but ML still wanting to save them is very annoying. ML isn't even honest with the King and King's head guard but he still thinks he is righteous. This story's lesson is don't live like the ML? :)
I enjoyed throughout the show. At first, I thought 40 episodes (20 ep) was a lot but they should have make it longer. Then, there would be less plot hole and the ending pace would have been better. Now, I felt that it was a bit rush at the end. I gave 9/10 for me. The story is light and easy to follow through so don't think that it's going to make you heavy. --- Now, I am not going to talk about this drama. I am going to talk about ending in general. Most people will say that the story is realistic if someone die especially main characters. But if the story got happy ending, they say it is unrealistic and say nonsense. For Yan Xun, he is the cause of troubles & growth of ML & FL. So, he is the key of trouble in the story but that doesn't means he should be the main ML. He and ML were best friend; how could he treat him badly later on. He is alive cos of ML and he played dirty to ML at the end and do bad things behind FL back that she hate. He is not an honest guy; not even to FL. He didn't investigate thoroughly and he held grudge against his own army (army under FL). Maybe, cos you are female you fell for him and blinded. There are many other male actors that I like but he is not one of them. For the record, I have read the novel too. In the novel, FL is more straight forward imo. Maybe cos she is from 21st century.
