Thumbs up. Nicely explained from the side of trauma and symbolism. There should be more story of love alarm app too. I thought love alarm app was not that bad in season 1. But after watching season 2, I think love alarm app is very bad in real life.

If SO get happy ending with JJ or happiness but the story is still dull, what would be comment section be liked? One thing for sure is there will be less hate on JJ & HY.

Sorry. I went off-topic. Yes, she did all those for herself for her happiness so it is not bad ending for both of them. SO still got lot of time to live so he will eventually be happy later. There is a chance to be happy as long as you are alive. Thanks. I see more better and understand better from your pov.
I always feel bad for Park Bo Young whenever I think about her character in Abyss. That's how you all might be feeling rn.

The most memorable moment for me in this drama is when HY rode bicycle around JJ in schoolyard (S1E8) cos it looked beautiful and JJ quoted,"1 is bigger than any number in the world". WOW. It felt so touching. Then, I was not sure who to root for anymore when the show left with cliff-hanger.

It is not only JJ fault. SO & HY loving her is at fault too. Yeah. You all better let your friend take if you fall for same girl/boy instead of being honest. XD
And Start the war fairly by announcing that you are going to hit on her/him if you two are best buddy. You know who broke the rule first. XD

If SO & JJ met again after 8 or 10 years instead of 4 years, they might have happy ending cos he could quit acting and do business instead. JJ would be doing some business or working by that time too instead of being a college student. But then again, SO career could get hurt by this cos JJ wanted a quiet life. Or she will not get bother by gossips by that time and SO can continue his career.
Anyway, two famous people getting together is the best. Then, it wouldn't be this dramatic too.

She did say sorry but didn't explain why she did that. If I were in his shoes, I would have moved on with YJ. Or annoy her until she explain. If she didn't explain, why bother, move on. Why would I hurt myself by waiting for someone. That's what I learned from watching how 2nd leads always ended up. XD

She knew that he will try everything to get her back cos his love alarm ring her every time. That's why she didn't. She would feel bad to let him try and she would feel sorry to get back to him. It is a very shameful thing to do too. XD

But SO wasn't the only one who had a hard time. JJ too. That's my point cos SO's stans are saying only SO had a hard time. Yup, he did have a harder time cos she left without reason. But they both got hurt. SO showing his love publicly in high school and in college which JJ doesn't like. Does his effort needs to be see by others? The one who love more normally suffer more. XD
I believe, he understood later that he ain't only one who was being hurt after seeing TRW drawings. He told her that liking someone isn't to be sorry for.
After that they have moved on from each other and SO character developed quite a lot. XD

"insecurities and fears" - Cos he is too big (High social status, celeb, add more as you like). Not everyone can stand against controversy/gossips and being called mistress, seducer and gold digger. Unless it is someone who can stand against those.
"she did it for him or because he was heavy" - She heard his parents calling him useless and will send him abroad. Yes, she did it for herself and him a bit.
" but how she ignored ... her actions." - Your answered can be done by someone who is matured by high school. She has insecurities and fears so most would be selfish and think for themselves. She considered one side but not his feeling so it was still her fault. If she tell the reason, he might not able to accept it and kept on pestering her or maybe not. But the fear make you think negative. Still these all happened cos she was not matured yet and hadn't experience this kind of situation yet.

This is my opinion on why JJ left SO.
SO was too big and heavy for JJ. She might be dragging down someone who is meant to be big. She loved him. That's why she let him go. JJ felt very bad for breaking up and leaving him without reason. That's the reason she can't be with him again. She will always feel bad for him, feel sorry to him and feel guilty.

Can one of SO's fan (not an actor or maybe if you are a fan of an actor too) write SO happy life/ending? Cos this drama isn't written for SO's happiness. But for JJ. I think it will make lots of SO's fans happy instead of focusing on JJ & HY or writer. xD

There was lack of character development, boring plot and inconsistent characters changes in Season 1 too. In season 1, SO character didn't develop in any good way I think. HY from coward to brave. JJ, putting the line so she won't get hurt and other won't get hurt. But she learned that 1 is bigger than any other later cos she feel the warm when she was lonely.
Season 2, there is also little character development for overall. So not much different too. I still like season 2 more cos JJ didn't accept HY super fast like in Season 1 cos of love alarm app.
There were issues but I can accept this much. Well, good for me cos I can accept. Bad for you cos you see too many issues. I will count this as a blessing then. XD
After scrolling down and read your comments which are from now to a day ago, I see that you would be happy/satisfy if SO character develop and he got his happy life. But the sad thing is he was not the main point of story. But these characters are only 23 years so there is much time left until they died. You can make a happy story for SO by writing a short drama or let Netflix make another spin off for SO. Or just move to another drama with has your fav actors. Sad truth, only main leads get happy life in most fantasy.

I thought SO is going to be get back with JJ by the ending of S2EP3. Same old k-drama thing that ML always win FL heart for no good reason.
But it was not so I was "hell yeah". Finally, the k-drama that break common plot line.

Excellent! It is time to move on to another drama. Season 2 has given me closure for cliff-hanger. :D

Think of this as short story without much convincing detail. Then, you will get closure that is left with cliff hanger in season 1. At least for me.
For me, I don't like SO for being too daring, possessive and inconsiderate/too cold. I don't think I can accept if I were a girl no matter how handsome he is.
HY is a coward & JJ is lie for her past.
Why did she needs to lie in the first place though?
I think SO is daring cos he got everything and he is still young. HY is a coward cos he is poor and realize the reality and young. I think SO kissed JJ to get truth from HY that he like her in episode 1. He cut the line first and tell HY to start fairly later? It is too late for HY anyway so he left them alone.
Most male lead has overly consideration on their FL & that's the one SO is missing in this drama. He got too much faith in love alarm. Well, cos he was young. FL didn't have time and SO is too big and heavy for her life. In the end, it was a circumstance and the fact that they were immature caused all these problems. So, it was all their fault and no their fault at the same time.
They should just move on after that break up instead of loving each others for too long. Well, it might not be a drama then. XD. They got no big dream in this drama. They just want to live quiet & normal life. I only like YJ but she should have found someone better. :)
