On The Glory Part 2 Mar 26, 2023
I think what made this drama stand out so much was the intense bullying and the fact that the one who seeks revenge is a female.
I must say that the casting director did a remarkable job with the younger/older actors, because they really look alike and I think we can all agree that all actors did a spendind job, especially with the charachers we were supposed to hate. xD
This is definitely not everyone's cup of tea and the hype around the drama is just too much, but it's easy to watch, because of the length of the episodes. The OST was great!
Lee Do Hyun is one of my favourite actors, but Ha Do Young x Moon Dong Eun just had a better chemistry.
Jung Sung Il and Yeom Hye Ran were definitely the MVPs of the drama, I've seen them only in supporting roles before and they were always great, so I hope they will finally get the recognition they deserve.
I liked the ending, even though you can say it has an open ending.
However, the lines from the last scene with Dong Eun and Yeo Jung were just... a nope, I felt nothing when those lines were said, they were totally unnecessary, a final look between them or other lines would've been much better.
As a final score - 7,5 for the first part and 8,5 for the second, an 8/10 for the drama overall.

I have already seen the 2nd part, but I will write my comment here based only on the 1st half.

The first 2-3 episodes were a bit all over the place for me with the timeline, because they went back and forth a lot, it was difficult to follow what and when was happening.
The first part can surely be called the build up of the drama, it was good, but I can tell that people enjoyed the 2nd part more and for a reason and so did I.
This is definitely not everyone's cup of tea and the hype around the drama is just too much, but it's easy to watch, because of the length of the episodes. The OST was great!

I had no expectations for the drama, but it was better than I thought.
I liked the cinematography and the story overall, it had nice life lessons.
But maybe because I had just finished My School President, Li Ming and Heart's story and chemistry were more intriguing and some supporting characters as well, the main couple... somehow didn't grab me that much.
The drama had its slow moments and it took me a while to finish it, but the number of episodes and good supporting cast are a plus.
This is definitely not for everyone, but I enjoyed it, so a 8/10 from me ~

On Your Eyes Tell Mar 4, 2023
I watched the Korean version over 10 years ago when it came out and I must say that they've kept this movie very close to the original one.
The actors did an amazing job! Even after all those years, this story is still able to move people.
Sometimes re-makes are a bad choice, but here... there's definitely something special about this version and I'm sure everyone who has watched 'Always' will enjoy 'Your Eyes Tell' just as much.

This is definitely the baby of Bad Buddy, but both dramas are too dramatic for no reason (with all those rules and reasons why they can't date).
The chemistry of the main couple was just splendid, I really liked all actors actually.
The music was also very good, I enjoyed the build up and developement of the couples, but... the story just didn't grab me in general, at a certain point I felt like I was watching the same thing over and over again in every episode, so at times it was a bit boring and repetitive.
Seeing Gemini and Fourth together was heartwarming and I can't wait to see more of them together in the future.
Although the storyline isn't something special, the actors did turn this drama into a unique one, in a good way, because I'm sure it made everybody who watched it, smile a lot.
A 7,5/10 from me ~

I can't remember details from the manga, but I'm sure I've read it many, many years ago, because it's from a mangaka I like.
The first few episodes had potential, but then the drama kind of got repetitive for me and the last 2 episodes were all over the place.
Judging from their profile pictures on MDL, you might think the actors should switch roles xD
However, they were actually quite fit for what they were chosen and I enjoyed their acting and chemistry.
But something was just missing... it wasn't enough. The drama isn't bad, but it's definitely not on my "great BLs" list either, so... I don't think it deserves more than a 6,5/10 as a rating.

I liked the leads and how they looked together, the filming locations were beautiful and that's... pretty much it haha
The story wasn't something exceptional, but at least the episodes aren't many and they aren't long, so it's easy to watch the drama.
I was afraid that they had fallen asleep, while they were "kissing", poor little things.

Title Reborn Rich
I read an article where Koreans voted that this drama has one of the worst endings ever and I was a bit scared to start the drama, but I actually liked it a lot, even the ending, but I understand why some people might hate it since it makes the previous 15 episodes look like all of Hyun Woo's efforts were in vain.
Vincenzo was also about revenge and money and power, but I enoyed this much more.
I don't even know how to explain my feeling for the drama, because the finance part and all the deals are not my cup of tea and I thought I would find the series boring, because of that since those things take up a big part of the plot, but the drama was still intriguing.
The chemistry between grandson and grandpa was great and I was always looking forward to their scenes togeter.
Koreans are always interested in dramas about chaebol families and since real-life events and crises were mentioned, that's one more reason for the high ratings, but the series is definitely not for everyone.
I also have an issue with the fact that Hyun Woo/Do Joon look identical, but it seems like they don't look alike at all judging by the reactions of those around them, that could've been explained and I also couldn't stop wondering what had happened to the real Do Joon's soul (or whatever) since Hyun Woo woke up in Do Joon's body when he was around 9 years old, what about before that? Who was the "owner" of the body?
I need answers to some other questions, which appeared in my head, but the drama has left a uniqe imprint on my mind, so I'll give it an 8/10.

This drama was... special.
I knew it wouldn't be an easygoing one simply from the synopsis and I started this, because of the BL element, BUT Fujino Ryoko stole the show for me! She grabbed me from the first second! She was just brilliant and absolutely mesmerising! What great acting from such a young girl!
The drama's cinematography was wonderful, it had a calming effect and some scenes (especially those long ones at the end of the episodes where not much happened) were surprsingly captvating as well.
I loved the drama until episode 6, then... the grand thing which happened there just...
But I still really liked the drama after that as well, we all need to take responsibility for the choices we've made, that's why I don't understand all the sympathy for Makio who was simply very irresponsible and immature with his decisions, he always showed a bright and easy-going personality, agreeing to some things without giving it much thought, just like when he decided to date Eiji.
Makio is the only important character wihtout any family background, maybe that was done for a reason... would I see him in a different light if I knew what he had been through? Maybe yes, maybe not.
Also, it was obvious that Mieko and Eiji weren't happy with their life, but they had just learnt how to put up with it and just let things be. I think all three of them lost much more than they gained.
It's also fascinating how the drama has so many time skips, yet it didn't feel rushed, we saw little glimpses of ther lives over different stages and we saw how much people can change over time.
Even though there are some things I dislike about the drama, it was surely one of the BEST series I've watched and not just when it comes to BL relationships.
A solid 8/10 from me, I'll always remember this drama.

This was... very disappointing.
I'm sure everyone was hyped about the drama, because of TeamWin, they were the reason why I even started UMWA when it had just finished airing years ago.
TeamWin's chemistry was great here too, BUT they were an amazing supporting couple and a terribly boring main one. The acting was on point, especially from Prem, but Boun's hair was... very disturbing during the whole series.
The first two episodes were good and then we started running in circles, the episodes were filled with the same scenes over and over again, this could've been finished with 8 episodes at most if they didn't add so many supporting couples and drag out the main "story" so much.
I was neither interested in the main couple nor in the supporting ones.
I'll still give this a 6,5/10, because I was really looking forward to the drama, but they could've worked on the plot much more, I guess everyone in the production team relied on TeamWin's popularity and love from the fans... well, it wasn't enough, it just wasn't.

I was looking forward to this, because I really liked Moon Ji Yong in Once Again, but here... his acting wasn't that good, I guess it's because of the character itself.
Everything happened very fast, I don't blame that just on the number of episodes and their duration.
The drama was just... boring, it made me feel nothing and I wasn't looking forward to what would happen next.
I'm glad they didn't shy away from a normal kiss, because that always happens in K-BLs, but there are many better works than this one.
I can't give this more than 5/10 ~

On Cutie Pie 2 You Jan 29, 2023
The original series was one of the worst BLs I've ever seen and this... was pretty much the same.
I told myself I wouldn't check out anything else related to Cutie Pie, but this had only 4 episodes, so I decided to give it a try and after the first episode I thought it had potential, but nope...
It was the same plotless and boring story with unneeded drama, it felt like I was watching the same thing over and over again. The 3rd and 4th episodes with the wedding were so uneventful, just like in Cutie Pie, they had no idea what to fill the episodes with, it was either se*ual scenes or one big nothing.
Why was "I missed you. " repeated so many times during the 1st episode? Did someone go to Mars for a few months or what?
The best thing about the drama were Nuer and Syn, but they didn't get the attention they deserved.
Instead of a 4 episode waste of time kind of drama, they could've simply made this into a movie or a longer 1 special episode.
This and the original series made me feel nothing and Nunew debuting in Korea as a singer almost made me laugh.
All in all, a bit better than the 1st season, simply because it was much shorter, thank God, but I still believe there are far better BLs and I don't recommend this.

Having watched Park Hae Soo in Squid Game first and then here, feels weird. xD
But he definitely did a great job with his character! I can't say the same about Jung Kyung Ho, it's my third drama with him and his acting just doesn't grab me.
The drama has some boring moments and it's slow, but it surely picks up at some point, the length of the episodes is another problem, because they really are long.
The OST was amazing, I knew 2-3 songs from before and I've always liked them.
What's special about this drama is the relationship between the prisoners and their interactions.
Jaehyuk and Joonho's dating and daily life didn't really interest me and there was a certain point when I told myself "Please, stop throwing more and more in Jaehyuk's way!", it's like they wanted to present him as the most unfortunate and unlucky person in the world.
The supporting characters - the guards and Jaehyuk's cell mates are why I recommend this drama.
The humor and fights were iconic, Looney FTW! haha
A 8/10 from me ~

This was... very disappointing. Thankfully, I had no expectations before I started watching it. xD
I didn't like the start of the drama at all, that dating thing was too forced. Why did they have to date in the first place? Why did Denis behave like that? (Did he remember something from his previous life? Because it was very briefly shown, but he was the one who killed Dong Baek in the past.)
No explainations were given at all.
The drama just made me feel nothing. Some parts of it sounded promising, but I couldn't feel any real feelings between the mains. The good thing is that the episodes are only 10-12 minutes long, so it's easy to watch and the ending was okay, but I don't recommend this drama at all, I can't give it more than 5/10.

On A Taxi Driver Dec 31, 2022
It's my fault for not reading the tags, because I know what the Gwangju uprising is about.
Judging from the poster and the synopsis, I thought this would be a cheerful movie about 2 different people on a journey together, very misleading.
So the movie was not what I expected, the acting was good and it is all sad and tragic considering what really happened in 1980 and how the most responsible ones got away.
There's a lot of fiction in the movie though, but it definitely affected both the reporter (whose last wish was to be buried in Gwangju, but his family didn't allow it) and the taxi driver, who couldn't bear what he had witnessed and passed away soon after due to heavy drinking.
It's a story, which we can learn from for sure, but seeing the world as it is today... not that much has changed in those last 40 years.

Here's a short article about the real taxi driver:

Jisung and Jinyoung's chemistry carried out the whole show.
The OST was amazing, the acting too, the cinematography as well.
The plot had some original parts and some, which were just a way too much.
In a way, the drama reminds me of Vincenzo, because of the high class, characters, story, but in both cases, the hype was too much and there are far better dramas.
I love Jisung and he was wonderful as always, the second half of the drama was better, because it was more intense, but in general... the whole story didn't grab me that much.
I'll still give this 7/10 ~

I couldn't shake off the thoughts that Go Ho Jung looks like Im Siwan in general, Lee Jae Bin reminded me of Kim Woobin in School 2013 and Kim Seong Hyuk really gave off Kim Bum vibes (especially like in the Tale of the Nine Tailed), just google them, they are all so alike!
Besides that... I had no expectations for this drama, but I was nicely surprised by it.
It just made me smile and it gave off a warm feeling. The actors did a great job!
Even though it is evident that the drama has a low budget, it was shot beautifully, much effort was put into it.
A very stable 7/10 from me.

I really tried to like this, but.... it was TERRIBLE and BORING. I could barely finish it.
Leo was used for his popularity and I've been following VIXX since their debut, so I was well aware of the fact that we won't see any acting from him, he was pretty much what he usually is like - a beautiful face with a honey voice, barely any emotions and cold attitude.
Ha Jong Woo did a nice job at being a happy puppy, but that was it.
The story didn't grab me at all, everything was so dramatic for no reason and nothing was clear, they wanted us to connect the dots all the time.
This drama is a total waste of time, so I don't recommend it at all.
I can't give it more than 5/10, but even that feels like too much.

I was excited about this drama, but I somehow couldn't get into it...
I liked the acting, the ost, the filming locations and definitely the idea, but something just didn't click for me.
Not many people get to say a proper goodbye to their loved ones before they die, so I understand why people love the series so much, I wish I didn't feel like something as a whole was missing, but I do.
I absolutely don't regret watching it though and even people who aren't interested in BL, should see it.

I can't believe it's been 2 years since the drama came out, when it comes to Japanese BLs, nothing can top it to this day for me.
So obviously, the movie wasn't as good as the series, but it doesn't have to be.
It had more serious and dramatic vibes, since the the magic, goofiness and fluffiness weren't the main aspects like in thedrama.
Adachi is still Kurosawa's whole world and that's what matters.
I liked the second half of the movie more and I think the series were wrapped up nicely, so if you loved the drama as much as I did, I believe you should still watch this movie, it's not a disappointment, just... don't compare it to the drama. :)
