The drama isn't perfect, but as someone who is a fan of the original work - the manhwa, I am super satisfied with his adaptation! I remember how in the begining there were sooo many hate comments about the leads and how they weren't good enough to portray Sun and Jay, especially Toptap, but I'm sure all those people were proven wrong! Lots of hard work was out into this series, the mains, the supporting cast, the OST was great, the chemistry, just everything. There were some frustrating stuff, plot issues and different things from the manhwa, but overall - truly, a wonderful adaptation and drama.
A truly touching and sad movie with great acting. The scene between father and daughter in the hospital was absolutely heartbreaking. It's maddening to know the real culprit is already out of prison and lives barely a 1km from the victim, poor girl.
I somehow stumbled upon her profile today... ah, I can't believe it's already been a year and a half since she passed away. Time surely flies. She was such a good, good actress, one of my fav kid actresses, ever since she was 10 years old. What happened to her is very sad, angering and unfortunate. I truly hope she has found peace...
I remember some comments on this page before, that one of the mains will have an accident and will have amnesia, I think it was Big Jane, is that real or... those comments were misleading?
The second part of episode 4 just proved that nobody else can play Khun Thee and Peach :D Nice special episodes, I'm glad there was more Rome x Mok, they are my fav.
Great acting, but maybe I look at the drama with different eyes, since I myself am a teacher and as a person who works in the system... some things just don't sit right with me. But when it comes to Korean school dramas, they mostly cover the same issues, years ago I used to wonder "Is the situation there that bad?", as the years went by, sadly, I stopped asked myself this question. Lee Sung Min's character was great, I wish there was more of him. Still, 7/10 from me, it was a good drama, just not something wow for me.
My only, but rather big problem with Payback is that the drama itself is called payback, they talk about revenge all the time, we have reached the final episode, but so far, none action has been taken against the 'bad guys'...
Someone please tell me the story doesn’t end in episode 10 or it’s going to feel like a disappointing ending.…
Currently, with the end of episode 9, they are at chapter 88 from the manhwa and the total of chapters is 95, so yeah, they are indeed very close to the end. The manhwa also has 14 side stories, so I guess they might include something from there as well.

I've definitely visited his page before and I have no idea why since his works are all from 2026.
His acting is amazing and he has great chemistry with simply everyone!
Will I get their story if I watch only this?

Because in episode 1 it was clearly stated that the year is 2021.
