Lee Je Hoon simply carries both seasons on his back, he's amazing, I can't believe he's turning 40 in a few months! The second season lost a little bit of the magic, which the first season had, the cast did great in both seasons, but in the previous one the cases were somehow more down to earth, more emotional. Some things and scenes in the last episode were just ridiculous... I would still gladly watch a 3rd season, but I hope they wrap it up with that unless they want to turn something good, into something people won't enjoy.
BL or not, it doesn't matter. What matters is the message of this drama. It's a bit slow-paced and not much happens, but the actors conveyed the emotions very well. Everybody needs love and kindness in their lives, don't judge or make up conclusions on a whimp, you never know what the other person might be going through and just how little he needs to be saved or broken beyond repair. A 8/10 from me ~
The actors had nice chemistry and their relationship progressed well considering that it's a first love story. The drama as a whole however couldn't grab me much. It's not bad, but maybe I expected more. 6,5/10 from me ~
I usually don't watch ongoing series, let alone leave a comment, but I couldn't hold back on this one. I haven't read the novel(s?), but I have to say that I enjoy the drama so far. Cars and races are totally not my thing, but I was still intrigued by the first 3 episodes and I can't wait for some mysteries to be unfolded. The actors are doing a really good job and as someone who knows quite a lot about the ABO dynamics, if that's what stopping you from watching the series... don't be scared, so far I can't even feel that this is connected to abo, maybe further in the episodes there will be more of it and about it, but I don't think there will be something too disturbing that the viewers won't enjoy.
With all the good reviews, I got my hopes up, but... this was nothing special. Woo Jihan did a great job, but this was too short to develop a good story and to have a good build up. The leads had nice chemistry, but there were too many plot holes. All in all, truly a little bit of fresh air with this one, but I just needed more... more of everything it could give. 6,5/10 from me ~
I have... mixed feelings about this drama. I'll rate it 7,5/10 only because the actors did a great job and their chemistry was wonderful. When it comes to the plot... it was a mess. They couldn't decide whether they wanted this to be a mafia drama, school based one, whether to lean more onto the comedy side or the drama, they wanted to doo and show too much considering the number and length of episodes. They never gave us much details about what the gang was doing or about Rui's family. Also, Wayne Song is a remarkable actor! He can portray playfulness, passion and especially sadness very, very well, if you've seen History you know what I'm talking about. Him as a villian here? It just didn't do it for me, all he was made to do was laugh maniacally and we had to believe he was the biggest threat alive, just nope. At a certain point, Ai Di and Chen Yi became a much more engaging couple, because they had tension and not too much unneeded drama. All in all, this was good, but it couldn't been much better.
This started off well even though the plot is cliche. The actors had nice chemistry and the flow in the first few episodes was good, but they didn't know how to handle the second half of the drama. It wasn't bad, but it could've been much better. I'll give it a 6,5/10, a series with wasted potential.
I had no expectations when I started this, but it was very good. Light, realistic, summer-ish, lovely filming locations, no unneeded drama, just two people who are experiencing love for the first time. What Japan needs to learn however is that... we as veiwers not only wish to see the main characters get together, but actually see them together as well. Or that's just me? It most JP BLs, we get to see that the leads become a couple... mostly in the last episode and that's it. I really wish this would have a second season, because there's definitely more to explore and show. I would certainly love to see continuation of these two. I thought the drama would be rushed, because of the number of episodes, but it all felt natual and well-paced. Hyuga Wataru stole the show, everybody needs a Ryuji in their love. A solid 8/10 from me ~
This movie was sad... but it somehow warmed me up and it left me with positive emotions. It was uplifting rather than depressing. I liked how the movie progressed and how the story went back and forth from past to present. I really like both leads and the child was also great, it's a movie that can truly touch a heart, especially if you've lost a one of your parents.
Kim Seonho was great! The action scenes were good too, but the movie relied too much on the violence and plot-wise, it could've been a bit better. The whole movie is simply... a chase, it's not bad, but really if not for Seohno, the movie wouldn't be doing this good. With all the superb reviews, I expected more, but I still found the movie enjoyable. I can't give this more than 6,5/10 though ~
Shin is THE man, the only man in this series, he's what makes both seasons worth watching. In the first season he was desperate, child-like, too forward, here he was much more mature, still super honest and clear about what he wants and he just... wished to be loved. I still don't get Minato's character and why he has to act like that at his age. Let's say that he was afraid and hesitant in the first season due to Shin's age and their age gap, but you agree to date someone and behave like this? Tctc. I don't even want to talk about the second couple's dynamic and pace. Shu is even more weird. I expected more... more progress, more of the plot, more of everything, but still... strangely, just like the first season - I liked the drama, there's just something about it. I'll give it a shaky 7/10 even though it was repetitive and frustrating at times.
& I'll just leave this here... "You learn something's value only after you lose it."
The acting was great and the movie wasn't bad, but I expected something more. When it comes to seral killers, the reason why they kill others is always important to me. The movie shows how people with disabilities are often treated, but it was still frustrating to watch. If its goal was to mock Korea's police and its citizens, it clearly managed to do that. The little plot twist at the end was the best thing about the movie. I can't give this more than 6-6,5/10 though ~
I hope his career won't be affected by the tragic accident, which happened yesterday. It's truly unfortunate that a person passed away, but Jung Se as a passenger has no fault and his manager who drove the van should be held responsible.
The movie had some nice twists and the acting was good, but in general - it couldn't grab me. South Koreans really love showing off their military power and such, so I'm sure it was well received domestically. I can't give it more than 6,5/10 though ~
I liked the drama, but I somehow expected more, it's like nothing happened or changed. The chemistry between the actors was great and so was the acting. There was something personal about the setting and the colours of the drama, they were beautiful. But I hate miscommunication or in this case - no communication at all. Don't assume what the other person is feeling or doing - just ask. I enjoyed the episodes with the flashbacks the most, because they gave us an actual story, a base for a good plot in the future, but... It had potential and a second season could really explore their relationship, so I hope they consider making one. A 7,5/10 from me ~
I really love those two together! The movie is surely a good conclusion to the series. I think Hira finally started understanding that he isn't a "pebble" and that he is worthy of being loved and love back. One day, I wish they would release a special episode or something, because I want to see Hira and Kiyoi in an actual, healthy relationship.
I'll give this season the same score I gave to the first one, even though I liked the previous season more. Season 1 was kind of rushed, but those two just have some kind of magic... they pull you in and you want more and more of them. Their relationship definitely isn't healthy, but if in S1 Kiyoi was kind of the bad guy, here it was definitely proved that he dearly loves Hira and tries his best, but Hira is the toxic one with his super low self-esteem and worship towards his lover. "I don't want to understand you." has to be one of the most painful lines in a drama ever, wow... Kiyoi the pouting and sulking baby... I just wanna keep him in my pocket <3 This season is a very good base and prequel for the movie though ~
This had some nice moments and it was definitely better than the 1st season, but the drama still couldn't grab me. It was a bit boring at times, it had potential and the actors did a good job, but the side couples were nicer than the main, even though all 6 males are considered as main characters, I think we can all tell who the main couple is. The last episode was cringy af, the couples together were awkward. The drama is nice to pass time with, but nothing too impressive. Also, am I the only one who noticed that a mic could be seen on top of some scenes? That looked unprofessional xD All in all, I can't rate it more than 6 ~

The fact that she doesn't have a main role is simply a CRIME!
I hope 2024 will be her year!
