On It's Okay to Not Be Okay Sep 13, 2020
I have been waiting for Soohyun's grand return and he didn't disappoint!
The drama surrounding the love story was a bit too much for me, but I just loved everything else about the drama.
The OST was just perfect and the acting was also splendid. Props to Oh Jung Se! Portraying a disabled character is a huge challenge and he did it flawlessly, his acting was very believable.
The title of the drama is so, so fitting "It's Okay to Not be Okay" ... we all have our problems and we daily struggle and battle with our demons. Mental health is just as important as physical health and I hope more people will realize that.
The drama really tells touching stories, which without a doubt can make you shed tears.
Definitely lived up to my expectations and there were also some very nice surprises from the cast - 9/10 for me.

Above all, you should also read the manga, because there are some differences and although I think I prefer the manga's ending, overall I enjoyed the series more.
The chemistry between the leads and their acting was amazing!
It might feel rushed at times, but that's only natural because the story covers years and years from the characters' lives.
I watched this with absolutely no expectations, I hadn't even seen the trailer, but I enjoyed this a lot!
8/10 from me :)

This movie can just... hurt you.
It's so sad that people were just desperate for money and yet they were deceived and got into this hell.
This is why Koreans are still sensitive when it comes to Japan.
The effects were pretty nice as well.
It's definitely not a movie for everyone, but you can surely learn from it.

I liked the acting and the chemistry between the leads, but the story itself wasn't something WOW and there were too many cliches, this is why I tried to stray from romance dramas for a while.
But it was still enjoyable, the side couples were cute, I thought they were going to keep the suspense with "that" thing for a little longer, but oh well and it feels like they really didn't know what to fill the last 3-4 episodes with xD
6,5/10 for me, definitely could've been better, but it wasn't bad either.

On Itaewon Class Mar 22, 2020
Lately, I've been quite picky when it comes to dramas and I rarely like anything, I always check how much time is left until the end of episodes, but it wasn't like this with Itaewon Class.
The plot itself is nothing new, but I really liked the cast's job and strong female leads, yes!
The drama also shows that devotion is important. Sometimes, it takes a long time to achieve something, not months, but years.
I also liked the OST and the relationships between the characters.
I see that some people are quite dissatisfied with the way the OTP developed, but I enjoyed that quite a lot.
The drama is far from perfect, but there's nothing perfect in life haha
8/10 for me, thank you for the smiles and the tears, Itaewon Class.

On Crash Landing on You Feb 19, 2020
What I liked about the drama the most was the North Korean aspect and the relationships between the characters - not in a romantic way, but the friendship, parenthood, the whole vibe of unity.
Honestly, the supporting characters stole the show, especially Yang Kyung Won! Give that man all the awards in the world, he deserves them! I was quite disappointed by Kim Jung Hyun though. It's my first time seeing him "act", but he was terrible, his facial expressions and everything...
The chemistry between the leads was good, but as I already said, other things got the spotlight for me.
There were of course, some things which were ridiculous and it would've been better if they were not included, but overall I enjoyed the drama, so I can give it a steady 7/10.

Did it have any romance? Did it have a "happy ending"?
There is no romance between the main characters.
A happy ending... it depends on the point of view.
I would call it an open one and there is supposed to be a second season, so...

After the many praises... I had very high expectations for the movie, but... I didn't enjoy it much.
I like the first part, even up until like the first hour and a half, but after that...
The movie had great potential and it's surely not everyone's cup of tea.
But the way it was, it will definitely stay in the mind for longer and I understand the hype around it.
It will perhaps win the Golden Globe tonight and who knows... maybe even an Oscar next month?
Good for the actors and for Bong Joon Ho, but for me... there are far better movies.
Still, it definitely clearly shows just how far people can go in their desperation for money, which is sad.
A shaky 6/10 for me.

I had very high expectations for this drama, because of the many great reviews and comments, but for me... it was boring. The acting didn't grab me either.
It did show life quite well though, because it can be dull and difficult for sure.
I liked the message of the drama, the relationship between the three brothers and the ending, but I had a hard time completing it.
Overall - 5,5/10 for me.

Title Stranger Spoiler
I just completed the drama and I must say... it wasn't as good as I was hoping.
Not that it was bad, but I guess I was expecting something slightly different, because I read it revolves around serial murders and that wasn't really the case, political affairs are not really my thing, but Koreans do love watching such things, so I get the super high ratings the drama got while it was airing.
The acting was really, really good! The story itself... it was nice too, some of the plot twists were predictable, but what really surprised me was Eun Soo's death! I was not expecting that!
Also, when they mentioned that Chief Yoon's child had died in an accident 3 years ago, I instantly thought that he was somehow connected to the murders, but it didn't cross my mind that he would actually be the killer.
Dong Jae... sometimes changing one's personality is not possible, no matter what the person goes through.
HOWEVER, there are definitely some questions that didn't find their answers... like what exactly happened with Yoo Beom after his 'I'm sick' play, also Yeon Jae? Will she really leave things as they are or would she seek revenge for her husband? Would she go against her father or someone else??
My BIGGEST question is... what was the deal with Jeong Bon??? He was present when Ga Young was found and he was also connected to Park's case, he felt bad for Chief Yoon, as a fellow criminal would. What was the point of showing us suspicious scenes with him and then NOTHING?
I can't really say I enjoyed the open ending of the drama, BUT I saw that there is supposed to be a second season, which has been postponed for years and is reportedly coming out in less than half a year? I hope it's true and then I wouldn't be too mad that they left us hanging when it comes to important matters.
Overall, 7/10. It could've been better, but the actors really did a good job, so... :)

I first thought of Myungsoo as a cat back in 2012 when I got into Infinite, so it's been a raaather long time since then!
He definitely got better in terms of acting, so I'm looking forward to this one :)

It's funny how the only two dramas I've seen with him are God's Gift and Stranger.
His roles in both dramas were similar though I still like God's Gift more, even though it seems like the majority of people prefer Stranger.

I hope that he will star in new dramas soon, I want to see more of him! :)

I just finished the first season and I thought that there are definitely some things, which need further explanation, so I was really surprised to see that there will be a second season!
It seems like they have been postponing it for a while and now it says it will start airing at the end of January? I certainly hope so. :)

When I saw that Al Pacino quote in the beginning, I just knew that nothing would be the way it seems.
It was a very good movie. Sometimes the border between fiction and reality truly is too thin and people often get swept away.
My only regret is that the movie is a bit too short. I wish there was more after the last scenes, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
A steady 7/10 for me.

The aesthetics in the drama were superb. Whoever chose IU's clothes did a masterpiece of a job and IU herself really, really did amazing in presenting her character.
Jingoo however... I've seen almost all of his works and I kind of found his acting a bit poor here.
The supporting characters, especially the two elders did a good job.
Whenever there's a drama with ghosts or a criminal one, which shows people's lives and how they've been wronged, I always get emotional, it gets to me.
Sadly, I couldn't really feel the chemistry between IU and Jingoo.
Overall, I enjoyed the drama, it was predictable and not something super special, but the actors, settings and the stories, which were told were decent.
So I can give a final score 7/10, though it's a bit shaky, but the ending wasn't all too bad either, so...

As a huge fan of the manga, I was super disappointed by this movie.
Japanese actors are not that good anyway, but the boy who portrayed Yoichi, just did beyond terrible job.

On Love in the Moonlight May 13, 2018
Overall, I enjoyed the drama.
Bogum surprised me with his acting, it's my first time watching him in a main role, he just knows how to... flirt with the camera, in the right way xD
Yoojung however was kind of annoying and whiny, which is not typical for her. She has been one of my favorite child actresses for years!
I liked the comedy elements, especially in the beginning, but then they dragged on with some things and it was too much, there were too many coincidences and unneeded drama.
Some people from the supporting cast did a remarkable job.
It's definitely a drama to remember with many heartwarming moments, it brings good amount of laughter and even tears.
Still... a very shaky 7.5/10 from me.
