I'm currently on episode 6 and for now I'll ignore everything else I want to say, just dropping by to make it clear: I NEED A CHAKRI IN MY LIFE, THANK YOU!

The title of the drama says it all.
Lee Jun Hyuk stole the show, he's so back in the game and I'm living for that.
The show doesn't offer anything wow when it comes to plot, but it's a very good revenge drama.
The acting and the action scenes were amazing, I wish there was more background info on Gi Jun.
The episodes aren't very long and it's a drama you can quickly watch.

Aah, I had such high expectations for this, but... it was just too boring and slow.
The dynamics between the two leads didn't grab me, I couldn't feel chemistry, the pace of the story was all over the place, how did the two even fall in love?
It felt like they just randomly met, started dating, had their little drama (which ended just like that? What was the point of it anyway?), it felt like only Choi Jae Hyeok and his character were trying to do something, Ji Won was just there... his feelings and thoughts seemed shallow.
It had its cute moments and the two supporting actors were a much better potential couple.
Many things were just started and left hanging in the air, the kiss scenes were indeed good, but that can't save the drama for me.
It's okay if you're looking for something to pass time with, but don't expect too much, you might enjoy it more that way.

I don't know if it's because I watched S1 and S2 back to back, but I enjoyed both!
I won't even try to compare them, there's no need, both seasons have their unique points and things that need to be worked on. They both play with our emotions, excite us and make us feel pain, just in slightly different ways, because the characters are not the same.
Si Eun's healing and opening up to the world... that was beautiful to see.
The new main characters were all wonderful and the acting from them was great.
This is my third drama with Ryeo Un, his range is crazy, poor baby gained weight especially for the drama and he got tons of hate for the way he looks, what a way to stomp on his dedication to he role.
I don't think this season was rushed, but Baku and Baek Jin... I needed more of them, their backstory, more about Baek Jin and his life choices.
While watching such dramas, I think we all ask ourselves the same questions: Where are the teachers? Where are the adults? Well, these dramas show exactly that, kids failed by their own parents and society.
Lots of gangs in South Korea use high schoolers for their crimes, because they get reduced sentences due to their age, so that's a thing...
The OST was amazing for this season as well, the actions scenes even better, Si Eun and his pen are a never failing combination xD
Looking forward to S3, I'm sure there's going to be a part 3 to the series.
I still feel like something was lacking for me, but I definitely enjoyed watching this!

I think I walked into this with way too high expectations. I've seen quite a few school bullying dramas, this was different in a way for sure, but I thought it would grab me more.
The relationship between the main characters was very-well paced and heart wrenching, the acting in general was wonderful from everyone. From what I've read, poor Hong Kyung got a lot of hate, because of his role, that shows how good he was, but I hope people will learn to draw a clear line between an actor and the character they are playing.

The OST was wonderful, the drama wasn't draggy and the action scenes were great, sadly I had seen some scenes from ep. 8 and a little bit of the fun was spoiled for me, but that's what I get for not watching this in 2022 xD
Si Eun is a very intriguing character, there was something mysterious about him, I liked that.

I finished watching this over a month ago when it ended airing, but I never left a comment, so I will only focus on my opinion about the drama itself and not the "drama", which is currently surrounding the series.
So... this is how you do a drama adaptation! *claps*
The drama has its ups and downs, plot holes, things that needed to be explained in more detail, BUT it is so much better than the manga/anime!
In Dakaichi, Jin (Junta) was soooo lustful towards Akin (Takato), that's why I didn't like that version, no matter how popular it was in 2018.
Here Jin shows emotions, love and care, yes, he desires Akin, but that's not the main way he shows his feelings.
Akin and his tears... ah, that's a whole novel of its own. T^T
The chemistry was chemistrying! The actors were so comfortable with each other that at times I wondered if they were acting or if they were simply being themselves xD
Top Form is not flawless, but it was a wonderful live-action, if it doesn't grab you at the start, continue it, it will grow on you for sure, a solid 8/10 from me ~

This was BEAUTIFUL!
The storyline, the characters and the way their emotions were portrayed, the filming locations, the acting, the OST, it was all great.
I think I walked into this with too high expectations and it didn't grab me at first.
I love slowburn, but there was something in the begining that didn't make the drama that intriguing.
However, it grows on you, it really does.
The ending of episode 9 was super emotional and beautifully filmed.
I do agree with most comments that the last 2 episodes made the drama lose a part of its charm.
That doesn't mean I regret watching it, it's still a really good one, so give it a chance, 8/10 from me.

I've seen some cuts, the trailer, teaser and it does seem intriguing, but I why do I stumble mainly upon negative comments?? T^T

The NC scene in ep. 9 was done right!
It was an emotional one, a true heartbreak, not like in the original work where Jin (Junta) was saying things like "You've got a taste of me, are you sure you can live without THIS?" referring to you know what.
Here Jin was angry, but he was also beyond hurt and desperate, he wanted to hold onto Akin forever.

Aaah... I guess I walked into this with too high expectations, I thought I would like it much more. The story…
I wanted Hae Jo to find his real father, because that's one of the main points of the drama.
But I guess, the whole trip was about "finding yourself" and the place where you belong, Chae Yeong Jo is the only father figure Hae Jo knows.
& we were kind of fooled in the begining (the scene by the sea with his parents), because Hae Jo wasn't actually abondonded, yes - his father ignored him and didn't pay any attention to him, but he did go to the graduation ceremony in the end, even if he was late, he wasn't a good father, but he was still his father and maybe he even searched for him, they never showed his pov after his son's disappearance.

Aaah... I guess I walked into this with too high expectations, I thought I would like it much more.
The story sounded interesting, but it wasn't delivered well, it was too unbelievable and it was hard to watch, the gangster scenes and the island episode were too much for me.
I like Lee You Mi, but here... no, her character was too indecisive, even childish for her age, annoying at times as well.
The main character, which I liked the most was Eo Heung, but even his character was ruined a bit, because of one of the last episodes and his unhealthy obsession over Jae Mi.
Hae Jo was both pitiful and intriguing character, so at times I thought his actions were justified, at times I thought he was too selfish.
Personally, I enjoyed the ending, it was good, sometimes in life, you just have to go for it, do everything you want, live like there won't be any tomorrow, try to have as less regrets as possible.
The OST was beyond wonderful! The acting was also good, but something in general was lacking for me. It still feels special in a way, but I thought I would be an emotional wreck after watching it, sadly, it didn't touch me that much.
It wasn't a terrible drama, but it could've been much better.

I started this, because it's a BL, but stayed for everything else.
The romance story was a bit forced, it's like it came out of nowhere, it wasn't backed up properly, I couldn't really believe their feelings for each other, especially on Kan's side. It just wasn't a believable love story, it would've been better if the mains were friends, not involved romantically, the chemistry was there, but just beause of the actors, they were wonderful at portraying their emotions.
I didn't like the nurse, there was something off putting about her.
The acting was really good, the story had its ups and downs, the suspense was there, but it wasn't that hard to grasp the whole situation. The cinematography was very beautiful.
I think the main point of the story is to make us think deeply, who is wrong and who is right.
Both Kan and Tew are right when it comes to their morals and beliefs, but that doesn't mean they aren't wrong either. For some, Kan could be called a Devil, to others - he would be an Angel.
It's an interesting drama, if you want to watch something similar - "Manner of Death" is the right choice.

why are there two part of ep 6?
Episode 6.5 is just a commentary episode with the two leads and a footage of the honey scene in black and white.

I pray that I will have the willpower to wait for at least half of the drama to be out before I start watching it, because waiting for a new episode every week is going to kill me! T^T
Cutie Pie didn't do it for me, the storyline was a mess, but the chemistry between these two is off the charts and from the teaser, 'The Next Prince' looks really, really good, I hope it won't disappoint!

Aaah, I was so excited about this drama, I tried my best not to start it while it was airing, because I didn't want to wait for the new episodes to come out every week, but... sadly, I was a bit disappointed.
The start was good, then it slowly started going downwards, it wasn't boring, but something about the writing wasn't okay, especially towards the end - the last two eps., it was like I was watching a totally different drama.
I think I was left with more questions than answers.
I wanted to know more about Seo Myeong Ju and why she behaved like that, was she simply crazy? At times I even wondered if she's really Yena's mother and was waiting for some plot twist there.
The scene in ep. 12 with "all" students was weird, was I supposed to believe those 30-40 students are all in the whole school?
The leads were great, the supporting cast too. I enjoyed the chemistry between Seo Kang Joon and Jin Ki Joo, they could've worked out just as friends too.
Kim Shin Rok was wonderful as well, she played a detective so well in Beyond Evil, so seeing such a role from her was a nice change.
The comedy elements were on point, but sometimes I couldn't take the NIS agents and all that seriously.
All in all, it wasn't bad, but I had high hopes, too high I guess, 7,5/10 is the max I could give this ~

A very touching and beautiful movie.
Sometimes we never truly know and understand the past of our parents/grandparents, the 20th century was definitely a tough one to live in, it's so sad that there are so many forgotten elderly people all over the world, most of them probaby have such inspiring and striking stories to tell, but there's no one to hear them out.

On Secret Relationships Apr 4, 2025
Now, this is what you call a good webtoon to drama adaptation!
Of course, it can't cover everything as the webtoon has 100+ chapters.
Lots of toxic relationships, schemes, mind games, violent behaviour and a walking green forest.
Whoever did the casting job, needs a raise, because the story lacks in some points, it even feels rushed at times, a lot was happening and some people were left confused, we really needed more episodes or at least a special, but the actors... they were truly wonderful, the chemistry was on point between all of them, not only when it comes to romance!
Kim Su Hyeon is a red flag without a doubt, but Jung Woo did such an amazing job (it's funny that he's the maknae in the team xD), that we just couldn't hate Su Hyeon that much and we even felt sorry for him, that doesn't justify his actions in any way, but the acting was that great.
It's not the best K-BL, but it's definitely in my top 5, it had potential for even more, but I'm still pleased by how it turned out, mainly thanks to the actors.

I had no expectations about this drama, but wow, what a pleasant surprise!
Muto Jun was amazing!
This had some interesting topics, Japanese BLs often offer something unique and different.
While I was watching this, it was raining heavily, what a coincidence, I guess I chose a good time to watch it xD
I wish there was at least one more episode or a special though.
