Agree completely re Yizhi... he is too good to be true.
Yeah that is just such a bad forced parallel if they just end up being the next toxic Huang couple after all they go through then its just too sad and bad of a drama.

I also am mad at Yizhi for not being more angry and/or sad/disappointed - like don't be so f*cking understanding she just murdered your baby and all your future babies. I just hate the way they made her decision so irreversible - like on the one hand its instant karma she deserves it. On the other hand, even if she eventually ends up with Yizhi again who is to say he won't eventually regret that he has no one to leave his legacy to? Yizhi deserves better.

That's true but its like Charlie pointed out, she should at least give him enough benefit of the doubt to ask him. And then to do such a vindictive thing to an innocent child... I honestly almost dropped it then and there. I mean she knows Yizhi did not kill her dad so to to that to THEIR kid is just nothing short of murder. Even though I like her a lot more also in recent episodes, I am just rooting for their business partnership to succeed. I hope Yizhi finds someone else.

I would feel bad for him if he didn't torture ZSC like that... that is what I call losing all perspective. It would have been bad enough to just kill him. Yeah so I know he is a good guy now, but I need karma to work a bit more on him.

Yeah I had a hard time getting over Lizi's stupidity ~18 but surprisingly in recent episodes she grew on me for the first time. I still like Cheongsam best though surprisingly. Kang Ning had more than her fair share of bad writing issues but I still like her. The one that still makes me grit my teeth is Yao Yao. Even when she means well she is nothing but trouble.

Yeah the emotions are very consuming but if you can pause on the sadness, some things really don't make that much sense...

Ok that bathtub scene was very sweet but... it was definitely too glum to be sexy.

I was so mad about that. They thought Wu songs are beyond our modern brains to decipher and substituted them with that total kill joy of a sentence. I also think part of the scene was either cut or abruptly transitions from before to after. The least they could have done was put it all in one episode.

Has anyone noted which prison numbers are which characters? This 2 episodes a week is too little it makes me lose track of who is who.

Ep 31 - I am so proud of Li Jun. I am so glad to see them write women who know how to love and respect themselves. May the best woman win. This Yuan Zhi is a real lucky dog.
