30-36 really put this back on track for me. The plot is moving again and we see Lige and Yikang working together, its exciting and there are good fight scenes and no more harem melodrama (for now).

She has great survival instinct. She knows if she sides with her family and brings down Pengcheng she goes down with him. That said, Pengcheng's affection for Lige is not going to go down well with her... nobody is that nice.

I put that on hold. Watching too many dramas atm, I'm risking to not appreciate due to bulking too much up.
Heheh its a record for me - dropped after 7.5 minutes!!! And while I am so bored I am climbing walls! It did however inspire me to plough through 3 chapters of Ezra Vogel's biography of Deng Xiaopeng - I had been stuck in the middle for months... That's how bad I think it is... Or let's say how not for me it is...

Evidently ancient Chinese take baths once every 5 days and wash hair once every 3 days. It is one of the reasons I can't watch time travel shows... As someone who loves to shower, I spend the the whole time I obsessing with how traumatizing it must be to be surrounded by people with bad BO.

I think she is in love with Chengjun already - she made him the hero of her books. But if it were me, I would go for Lexuan. Life would be the most interesting with him. Unfortunately I don't sense that he is that interested in her... other than as a money making machine.

Well she is motivated by a delusional idea that she is Pengcheng's true love (he just doesn't know it yet) and she still has no qualms about killing Lige dead to get her man... Not sure if that makes her good....
