I can get up to 14 but its raw on mango TV. Depends on how fast Amazon will sub it.
Same title Love of Thousand Years. I think she can fight a bit but this is not a wuxia the fighting is peripheral. Looks like Prime Video is slow they are only at 10, Youtube is at 12 and I can already get 18 (but no subs).
For sure - I am so very glad I watched this before I watched TROP.. That said, the romance here is much more obvious.
Oh she causes a lot more mischief before she is found out again. She is gonna mess things up for them again from the jail. This goes on to the end - even when she is busted she manages to squirm her way out of it and come back to cause more trouble.
Is it just me who thinks Andrew who plays SXR looks a teensy weensy tiny bit like Leslie Chueng?
I started watching this because Farewell My Concubine was one of the unforgettable movies I watched. And one of my big regrets is I never got to see Leslie in concert even once before his death. I was so happy for him that the movie gained him international recognition though.
I’m on episode 7 and I got the feeling that tang and that girl in red are gonna end up marrying somehow.
Impossible - he is living with Sui Zhou already - they are domestic partners with maid/adopted child and all already. Plus that girl is super annoying, he can do better.
Yeah Luo Jin's acting in RN was really excellent but I don't think his character is at all like Ning Yi. He plays a weak crown prince who actually has a lot of power but is too idealistic and not ruthless enough to use it effectively . Ning Yi is a relatively powerless prince who is much more realistic, very ruthless and strong. To me, they are very different, almost completely opposite characters. The emperor in this show is much more like Luo Jin's character in RN in terms of being idealistic to the point of unrealistic.

Yes and its hard to find something everyone wants to watch. I don't think this is bad though, it just reminds me why I stopped watching his shows years ago when they started making better productions like Dragon, Ip Man etc that avoid the excessive silliness. Poor guy he never got the memo that its just not that funny. And the hairstyle they inflicted on Darren Chen whenever he goes to the Iron Market is so 1980s/90s I just roll my eyes and laugh.
Watching it because was bored but first 4 episodes bored me even more. I like investigation dramas but...this…
It has its moments and parts of it are quite witty and funny and technically it is extremely well shot but the cases so far are quite predictible. And I am not a fan of the assinine feud with the Orirat girl and her thug - its crass in a way that speaks to everything I really don't like about Jackie Chan. Hope they keep it to a minimum or this will turn into a beautiful waste of time. It is just not a good sign to have fillers like that pop up so early in the show.
