I always felt L&D was basically Mo Yuan's story but due to copyright they had to use a different character. The magic of this story is you feel root for both the the winner and the loser. Ye Hua is the darker more ruthless character that dares to take what he wants. Mo Yuan is too good. Faint heart never won fair lady.

Wow excellent list and article- what about best villains? In Handsome Siblings, I actually have to toss a coin between Xiao Yuer and Jiang Yulang. Made me realise I must have a soft spot for dark characters because two of my personal favorites are Ning Yi (Rise of Phoenixes) and Sha jie jie (Journey of Flower). :)

Why does this feel like a sad story?

Dunno what they are talking about. NiNi was amazing in this drama. Even when she is expressionless there is a lot of emotion conveyed in the deliberately expressionless moments.

Ah ok. Well hope you like Reborn, I watched part of the first episode it seems quite intense but very well shot.

She is cute and quite lovely but the first actress is beautiful, graceful and adorable. It is very difficult not to compare them and find her lacking. She just doesn't look convincing as someone a bored immortal is going to be obessed and besotted with for a thousand years over 10 lifetimes. It is an unfortunate mistake the first actress better fits that description. They should have just used Lusi from the beginning.

Sure, but anyone rooting for the other guy would probably not consider it a happy ending, no? And things really didn't end well for the other dude... But I must be missing something - I didn't see what was inferred on the other site, I am only on this one.

I am watching Secrets of the Three Kingdoms. I thought it would be heavy political have to watch slowly but it is actually very good and quite engrossing. Check it out. I am at about 18.

The villain is pretty good.

That was a very funny scene. But I am almost at the end and I don't feel motivated to finish. Already dived well into something else although I usually wrap up almost done shows first.

Not a huge fan of the empress. I know she is concerned and stressed but what a control freak, and a big nag and scold. Yuck.

Supposedly Hongshou and Hongyi's story. But sad to say I suspect it is just netizen fantasy. Wu Lei is becoming increasingly in demand I doubt he would do another student production like this unless its required for graduation or something. He will be in other things I am sure. :)
