I just finished ep 3, it is really excellent. Its political but not heavy in a slow and boring way but gripping with many twists (which hopefully they don't overdo). I am mentally prepared for a tragedy already so anything less will be a positive surprise and with so many episodes to go, can worry about it later.?!?!? This is the best role I have seen Luo Jin in so far.

It seems not to be licensed for any region on Viki. I tried just about everything with my VPN, which doesn't have any China servers unfortunately. On Youtube I was able to watch it from India.

Ok good - I like them to use real voices but I am not a huge fan of on-site recording - I think they did that with LD Changan the audio was so spotty in places I had to watch with subtitles which I generally find annoying.

Yeah... every couple of months I casually re-watch 1 or 2 episodes when I am bored and then get sucked in all over again and next thing I know I re-watched a big chunk. Its terrible habit I can't break.

Love the trivia... I haven't watched LYT since Condor Heroes I guess her character here may be more subdued or maybe it was just the pavilion scene. Anyway super excited about this.

But it is still dubbed no? The sound quality seems too good and consistent.

I only had time to watch 1 but very promising so far - high production value and great acting. Is it just me or does Li Yi Tong look a bit tired?

I am also rewatching that. It is magical.

Anyone know if Luo Jin is dubbing himself in this?

Well, its about a crown prince and a maid... not a spoiler I didn't read the book but I just don't see how that ends well,,, I love the two leads they are such excellent actors I am gonna watch it anyway although it may involve heartbreak...

I am not sure I am up for watching Li Yi Tong in multiple dramas at the same time. It will be too confusing to buy into her as different characters. I think I have to back burner this one until I finish Royal Nirvana...

To be fair she wasn't the only bad thing about it but do check it out for yourself. She is very beautiful but either she can't act or this is just not her genre. Slapstick comedy is extremely difficult to pull off well - Stephen Chow was the ultimate master of making something deliberately so awful and ridiculously bad that it ends up being hilariously funny. I think they are attempting that in this show but it falls far short of funny and ends up as just bad.

Its airing!!! I am actually hoping my dinner tonight gets cancelled so that I can go home to watch this...

She is really really bad. Usually for me, that means bratty or noisy or both. She was none of that and yet she managed to be bad. It is a feat in of itself. Worth watching just to see for yourself what is beyond words.

Wow that was just awful!!! Slapstick and yet not at all funny - I wanted to stop after 15 minutes. All time record for how quickly this is going to my dropped list. FL is a true horror story of bad over-acting... I am frankly in shock. Xu Kai, how could you be associated with a disaster like this?!?!?

Someone stop me please! I started re-watching this. Again. Utterly no self control!!!

How does this drama have a 10 rating already it hasn't even aired!!!??? And from 10, there is only one direction it can go from here...
