Iqiyi needs more low budget hits like this - they lost money again in 2Q after about 3 years of break even and their outlook for the rest of the year was grim.

Thanks I have a Douban account and know how to go to the forums and skimmed too but on balance still predicted the Douban score would be high.

MJTY is a Guo Jingming drama. He makes all his actors do their own voicework bc he is a movie director. Quite sure Cheng Lei was dubbed in LOFG.

I doubt that works but I think this is one where we just have to suspend disbelief or assume they figured it out somehow.

She was really good in Royal Nirvana but that is a super depressing story. She also was good in The Knockout even though she didn't have a big role. She is of course known for her Huang Rong in LOCH 2017 but I didn't think that was a good role for her.
