What baffles me the most is the fact that none of them told Fenghua about Siyi :/ Why is she excluded? She really…
I think its bc as Haikuo told his girlfriend, the whole group knows that feelings are developing between Fenghua and Wanghe but Wanghe once had a crush on Siyi. So they are just being careful about not disturb that until they know that they can really reunite with Siyi.
Their delivery business reminded me of Door Dash, founded in 2012 by students who just graduated from Stanford.…
Its more like SF Express and ZTO Express bc its documents and parcels only, not like Door Dash which goes shopping or run errands for you. And Wanghe's business is clearly modeled on Meituan, a food delivery powerhouse.
Looks like very similar but improved cinematography and CGI to Ever Night. I thought we had finally seen the last of standing on flying swords but I guess nope....
I believe the Crown Prince at the time should be Li Heng, who ended up succeeding his father as Suzong emperor…
That's right, I meant the Right Chancellor (edited). In history he should be Li Linfu. He was one of the most cunning, and infamous politicians of his day and very well portrayed in this drama. Unfortunately he was so powerful no one dared to demote or punish him until after his death of natural causes so while his family suffered for it, he was long gone by then. But if they ever get around to S2, maybe it will show how his actions weakened Xuanzong and he never succeeded in deposing this particular crown prince.
I didn’t quite grasp the Emperor and Crown Prince’s final scene. What were your thoughts on it?
I believe the Crown Prince at the time should be Li Heng, who ended up succeeding his father as Suzong emperor of Tang. Before that his brother Li Ying was the crown prince but as a result of scheming by the Right Chancellor and Empress Wu was accused of treason and executed. So Li Heng, the CP in the drama's position was unstable and he also participated in plotting against the Left Chancellor for power and to protect himself and his position. The final scene should be one of reconciliation between father and son where Li Heng burns some documents (sorry I don't remember clearly what anymore) that could have helped him but potentially destabilize his father. He was making peace and also telling his dad that he can trust him and that he was not in a huge hurry to take over. And the emperor should be acknowledging that his son's act of trust and good will and that he made the right choice in his heir. I believe Li Mao was the other prince that the Right Chancellor (Li Linfu) supported but Xuanzong himself was quite convinced that Li Mao was not capable.
Becoz it's mainstream drama in cctv 1 which is very very very big thing in china (Domestically) mostly for tv…
They are saying for mainstream TV dramas on CCTV 1 in China, achieving high TRP or TV ratings points as measured by CVB or China Video Big Data is a top priority due to their massive domestic influence.
