I am fine with Mando but I find most Mando pop and Mando OSTs really nice but ultimately forgettable. Not enough tones-lah! After awhile everything sounds the same.

Sometimes I feel sad the HK people never got over the Canto-culture heyday. They don't like Mando-pop and Canto-pop nowadays not that great anymore. So they still play those old songs all the time in taxis and Ubers and OMG how many countless Chinese dinners have I been to in private rooms with karaoke to sing those songs??? If he were KJP he doesn't need to get Qu to steal the defense map and there are easier ways for him to plant the fake attack plan. It just doesn't add up. Well I would say Ke JP is too important a character. Kunwu is clearly stalking Milan all over town. He'd surely be missed if is off lurking like that all the time. He was never super high on my suspect list.

Could be but could just as well be Asst Wu they have the same silhouette down to the pointy ears and nose. And if you told me it were Ling Han, I'd find it hard to argue with as well. I know its a hint but in this case its not a helpful one bc they are all already on my suspect list so I am nowhere closer.

I think he is definitely on the poster but unfortunately the only thing that confirms is that it is definitely a man that is not shorter than Cheng Yi. I think that only obviously rules out Yang Ziming...

It can be both. Its a remnant of colonial days when the Brits used to run the place, there was a lot of saluting to Yes Sir/No Sir. But local HK people are very defiant and passive aggressive they start to use it sarcastically. Like criminals who talk to cops always address them as A'Sir but you can tell they mean it insolently - at surface respectfully but with a defiant undertone. I assume most of his colleagues call him Yao Sir bc they started out in the police force together and he got promoted ahead of them. So the Sir would be appended as grudging respect for his seniority and yet with the familiarity of a first name to remind him they started out together. I have seen it used with both last and given names.

Yeah I don't have any great Kunwu suspect at the moment bc at that point in time, there were those at NBIS who cooperated with the CPC against the Japanese bc they believe ideology may be different but its still Chinese people vs foreign colonists. I feel that is the two chiefs Yang ZM and Ke JP. And I have the impression Ling Han is a rabid KMT loyalist who hates the CPC as much as he hates the Japanese. I think Asst Wu is at the moment my top suspect maybe just by elimination of everyone else.

I think it is more likely Chief Ke is the second half of the photo with Yang Ziming and the person Muzhi was supposed to meet up with. He is a mole in the Nbis but more likely a CPC mole than a Japanese one.
