I expect good stuff to happen in cave scenes. This woman suffers from pneumonia and she was obviously freezing. I don't need to be a genius doctor to tell you this is when you at the very least snuggle together - think TROP, Maiden Holmes, TU,... you name the countless dramas where this happens! That is what a cave scene is for. If you ain't gonna do jack shit but stare at each other, it best not take a whole damn episode. I thought it would never end.

I found ep 7 and 8 especially boring. I don't understand why looking for a hairpin and being stuck in a cave where nothing romantic happens needs an entire episode. Coma inducing.

Ren Min was dubbed in TLP and IMHO she should have been dubbed here too.

To the Wonder and Hunter directed by Cao Dun are both winter themed dramas. Also Chang Chen and Ni Ni’s movie Savage. And of course Jin Yong’s Fox Volant of Snowy Mountain was the ultimate snowy wuxia but no one has remade it in recent years. There are a lot of snowy scenes also in the prequel Side Stories of Fox Volant.

Sadly I am still a working girl and I got involved in investing in a wine bar and a restaurant so I have turned into a social butterfly after work. My drama watching time has been severely negatively impacted.

I am very busy this year so I can't even really keep up with the normal airing schedule. And in any case, I haven't decided if I will keep watching this one - it gives me too much a feeling of I watched it before already.

Its a very introspective story, with both leads having a lot of inner conflict. Those kinds of stories make better books and are hard to adapt into a drama. Hopefully the action keeps the pace going. Otherwise it is all up to both leads acting well enough to make their inner struggles interesting enough to retain audience attention.

I am half joking about the 70 episodes being not enough. I watch a lot of stuff on the treadmill and its not easy to find a good long one like that that would be too slow for me if I watched it normally but just right when I am exercising.
