You only got in trouble bc you said she deserved it. This is a dark story about complicated and ruthless men with serious agendas. Romance is far from the top of their minds. It is premature to look for that at this point of the plot.

I found her just blank in Regeneration, which I guess is better than annoying. Her career is already in a downturn in the sense that she didn't make it in movies and has to downgrade to making dramas.

I cannot connect with her character in every role I have seen her in. She is a decent actress, she can deliver her own lines and has made many movies. But I think she lacks charisma and empathy and she doesn't really immerse herself in her roles so her acting always seems fake. But apparently she has a lot of capital and resources behind her so she gets great roles, even when she doesn't at all look or fit the part.

Yes I have that impression as well. I think this drama was shot to emphasise his height whereas that one they tried to minimise it bc the FL is so short.
