Yes its the Dashing Youth director but this time he is backed up by a terrific action director. Zhang Yimou's stories never make that much sense but they look very very aesthetic. Although I have to say in recent years he has worked with better writers, I actually really liked Full River Red.

Well he is not behind the camera on this but you can see some of his style and aesthetics in some of the shots. He is a terrible storyteller so its kind of better he is just producing and not directing.
