And the drama is quite cleverly consistent with that, showing instead that BYT dies but Ding Zhaohui rides again. You don't need to watch the extra to know they both lived. They go visit Linglong at her sect and call themselves Zhan Rifei and Ding Zhaohui - which are the aliases they each used the first time they introduced themselves to Linglong. So she immediately knew ZZ and BYT were alive and there to visit her.

I think you are supposed to conclude that BYT had an epiphany about the cure when he was trapped and tried to tell ZZ but didn't manage to. But once he survived, he was able to put it to use. And it is implied it has to do with that plant that can bloom in the snow - since ZZ's poison is a cold poison, a plant that can bloom in the cold should be the cure. Yes - Ming Zhu'er obtained evidence of Xiangyang wang's collusion with Xixia. It was the written agreement reflecting the cooperation between XY wang and Xixia. It was what BYT looked for in the dead Xixia envoy's pouch but couldn't find. It was probably kept by some of the Xixia soldiers that Shao Jizu sent after BYT. It is also why Shao Jizu attacked the envoy - he was sent by his father to retrieve the document that evidenced Xiangyang wang's treason.

Its still by far the best c-drama made. The female characters are all very strong - although there is no real female lead, they are still substantive supporting roles.

I think it’s very enjoyable but Zhan Zhao is a long known martial arts hero to me. And this is like a plot driven slice of his life story it doesn’t really get into his origin story. So it’s not resonating with everyone on here. I think you should check it out if only to
see the fight scenes. And if the plot is not plotting for you then just abandon ship.
