Under the Microscope is excellent and under appreciated. Its not an idol drama and there is little romance so it doesn't appeal to most of the MDL audience.

I have a feeling that He Shan has something to do with this. She must know him the longest bc they were high school classmates. Maybe she is his partner in crime. He gave her a sim card or a hard drive or a crypto currency key before he was abducted? So I suspect she is returning the money after they tell the story. Maybe one of them kidnapped him and is blackmailing him to return the money he stole? Whatever is going on Fei Ke has something to do with it bc the young host in the black suit knows the same soda can trick that Fei Ke knows.

Jing Boran is better known for his movies he hasn't made that many dramas. I think A League of Nobleman is pretty good and he looks stunning in it. I dropped Road Home - it started well but quickly got boring. I think you should keep an eye out for his Cao Dun drama Win or Die which should air this year. I think that has the potential to be really good.

I hope I am wrong but I have a feeling Fei Ke is already dead. The young man hosting the reading of the will should be the kid at the violin recital in 2015, probably Fei Ke's brother. The connection is the coke can that seems to roll around on its edges that the host was playing around with after he locked up all 5 guests in the basement. It is the same coke can trick Fei Ke showed him to stop him from crying at the recital. So one of the 5 guests must be Fei Ke's murderer and he is trying to figure out who. I hope I am wrong and that Fei Ke managed to escape and is orchestrating it all behind the scenes to try to figure out who his abductors were. But yeah I would have to suspend disbelief they managed to stuff him into that suitcase without dismembering him!

Well mot exactly. But it would be the way Chinese people may jokingly use the word "fake" in the middle of a sentence that is in Chinese. Like "That's a fake!" 那是ffei-ke!!!

Fei Ke is a homonym for FAKE.

Its really hard to say bc no one knows how many episodes for S3. Six months seems a bit long for 36 eps/S2 but would be too short for 2x36 ep seasons. Also action scenes take longer and it may be there is a lot in S2.🤷‍♀️
