I like this show so much more when the makeup and CGI is not excessive. I can't believe they wasted so much money on stuff that doesn't enhance user experience. This thing cost RMB 400mm to make, or almost $60mm USD to make.

I don't think the episode cap is that big a deal. Tbh there have been a ton of flashbacks in the recent episodes that they could have easily cut back on if they needed more time.
