Yeah she is a very cute lady but the problem is she has no screen presence. And I don’t like her voice dubber it’s not annoying but it doesn’t match her face.

I only watched 2 episodes of Unchained Love and I think its pretty good too. Probably will appeal more to big romance watchers which is not me but it just comes down to personal preference.

This is one where you just say forget the synopsis and go with it. There is a lot of hidden backstories so a good synopsis will spoil it.

From what I can see, Wuxin even as a child was very precocious or an old soul. He went through a lot and that probably aged him beyond his years. In the fantasy genre or even ancient period, a 17 year old can be a lot more mature and should not be benchmarked against modern era. Imagine, people had kids at age 13 or 14 way back then and they live till about 40.

Yes exactly but the action scenes are fast moving and its not focused on one hero but either 3 or 6. That part I can't figure out yet. I have a pretty long flight so I will be able to catch up on this and maybe start Unchained Love as well.

Just caught the first 3 episodes... and wow! Loving the dynamics, the humor and the story is very intriguing as well. Never thought I would say this but I am actually glad Youku went with this instead of the much anticipated Legend of Anle.

Its possible. I think Li Chengtian may have lied about his role. I suspect Suifang actually was the one that killed her. The guy is all about keeping his wife, he would do anything to keep her. That is why he kept the nails, as potential blackmail material and not like a serial killer collecting trophies. Wenzhou could have done it to but the guy is not all there, its hard to take his version as the absolute truth.

Yeah idk why c-drama perpetuates these terrible female stereotypes. I also really disliked the way Tian Xiwei spoke in NLB but at least she didn’t try to sound pre pubescent.
