This drama is consistently predictable. The bad guys make themselves so obvious its like they are afraid we aren't paying attention. May as well write Bad Guy on their forehead.

I also agree that both actors are replaceable for S2 and I put a very low probability on XZ returning anyway. However neither of them are the reason for the delay in shooting for S2. They missed a window to shoot as scheduled in 2022 due lockdowns related to covid resurgence in China. New Classics Media has now scheduled it for 2023 to begin shooting so best case this will only air in 2024.

I also enjoy the character contrasts and I don't really mind his arrogance bc his heart is in the right place. Besides it makes great comic relief as he gets taken down a peg or two all the time and he is mostly good natured about it when he is wrong. I also like that he is the muscle but he is not dumb he actually asks the right questions and has good instincts. He is just not as cynical and hasn't learned to peel away the layers of the onion. He has clearly been sent to be trained as SWM's mentee.

No absolutely not more likable at all. But itβs an ironic one of those he lives awhile to regret his misdeeds kinds of endings. He is miscast or misportrayed in this. Peter Hoβs interpretation is too greasy and not to be mean but only a visually impaired woman would dump MRF for TGN.
