Indeed and now CSS is finally getting a taste of what her mom lived through every day for 15 years. Imagine that. It is not like she went gallivanting around the world partying her ass off while her daughter was neglected. She was in the front lines where women are raped and dismembered. I expect to see some growth from CSS or at least some understanding of what her parents went through rather than this pity party oh poor me I was abandoned and abused. It was tough times. Shit happens. Sometimes its nobody's fault.

How hard is it to be Yang2's mom? Anyone can do it bc it is so easy peasy given Yang2 is such a delightful, dutiful and obedient dutiful girl. I don't think CSS mom is mother of the year but its not Yang2's fault she is such a deserving or easy to love child.

True but many of them are engaged. I mean in this period people die around age 40... So when you tell me she is 15, I don't think that is the same as your average today 15 year old.

I just feel sad for her bc she only knows how to be a general and not a woman. It doesn't really come out bc the humour sugarcoats things but this is set in very turbulent times and very brutal and violent things happen. She is front lines fighting for survival every day it is a miracle none of them died or were seriously maimed. She doesn't know how to be a woman, much less a mom. They are both tragic victims of the time.

I think we need to just accept that the FL is going to spend at least half the show engaged to other people. That is the story the way it was written so we will be super lucky if it is only until ep 20.

At 15 in that day and age most women are married already if not mothers.

There is a lot of romance between the ML and FL and it is the dark and passionate kind. The SML does get a fair bit of screen time with the FL in the second half of the drama but the ML still has the most screen time. I think they edited it so that SML got more time bc it is XZ and he is super popular.
