Why did the Yongzhou eunuch make the comment to the Yongzhou Lord that Chang has no need to compete for power when there is no official heir yet? Is it because Chang's mother was just a concubine so he is not qualified when there are two other "legitimate" heirs? In that case, the current order of preference should be Lanzi followed by Ju and then Chang?

Yups... I added The Four to my PTW it looks just up my alley tyvm. Tbh I did try the first 2 episodes of YAMG a few times bc of the rave reviews but I just couldn't get into it. I am happy lots of people loved it though.

All dramas have region restrictions. It could be Tencent licensed this to a network in your region or they haven't cleared censorship and copyright there. If you have a VPN and set it to Hong Kong it will work. You can also try other closer regions I just don't know where else its being broadcast.

I am not at 12 yet but my rough guess was mid 20s bc HFX started the Fountain Abode 8 years ago, which is the kind of thing he has to be in his mid-teens to do at earliest. And they wouldn't write BFX to be that much different in age.

Tbh, it is just a function of current market conditions which are tough - Netflix fell 40pct yesterday bc they are lost a huge no of subscribers and are going to be forced to cut costs. As a result iQiyi is down about 13pct just tonight. Croton simply cannot drop this for no money bc the investment cost was high and they can only make money if they can sell the license to as many TV stations and internet platforms as possible, which takes time. They know that no matter how much fans complain, when the subs are available, they will still watch it. But if the whole world has already watched it, the platforms and TV stations will not pay much to buy it from them. It seems so far only local TV stations (who have low budgets) have bought it. I haven't seen a Netflix/Amazon/Disney deal yet. Not saying it won't happen eventually but budgets are tight and delays are inevitable.

Heroes, Handsome Siblings and maybe Sword Snow Stride if you are not bothered by slo-mo.

5.8 is not a bad score for this genre from the Douban snobs. To put it in perspective TMOPB is rated about ~4.0 and the Untamed is ~7.7 or something - I have yet to come across a Xianxia or Xuanhuan they have rated that highly. Anyway, independent thinking grown ups don't need a score chart to tell us what to think about a drama. I would also add that the Douban comments are IMHO pretty positive overall on the drama.
