very true.. i also feel the story has done justice to the characters YZJ being businessman has to do things in secret and cannot show his cards too soon or he'll lose to powerful people, the idealistic ZJR though he empathises with the FL cannot really understand her but is making efforts in his way.. and of course SMZ she is humble and focused on her business and is not too cocky/arrogant in her behaviour.. very realistic depictions..nothing over the top I am enjoying their journey and growth so far

yes..episode from the Marquis proposal has been all over the place..I don't mind them being secretive about the ending, but it could've been done in better ways by giving more screen time for the leads...showing Ding Yuxi practicing and learning the cresent while travelling with Miaomiao..than having these old characters theorize..feeling like they are wasting my time..i am currently watching it at 1.5x and caan even speed it further.. they didnt use the lead actors talents well
