I feel you. I was so wrong to watch it at midnight, lights off and alone, and heck it was too late to realize that it’s creepy. Dropped after the 1st episode and looked for a romcom to wash it off before I sleep. I changed my gameplan to watch it at noon. Voila, done with all four episodes now.

I must say that I thoroughly enjoy the drama except that Jeong Suk and Do Hyun have ZERO romantic chemistry. I always skip their lovey dovey scenes which are awkward and cringey.

I hope the likes of Mr. Choi multiply for a husband.

I already gave you the part where it was highlighted. If you missed it, then I highly suggest that you revisit that part with his sister. It ain’t long but meaty. I’m no longer spoonfeeding you with how I got the point.

I don’t like it that much to the point of hyping it yet I don’t hate it because it has its charms and life lessons. Yet this I say, it can be wrapped up in 8 episodes because I won’t lie, I hit 1.5x speed as soon as it hits Ep8, I became bored.

That was for me the gold and saving grace of the drama. If you can recall ML’s convo with his paternal half-sister. He mentioned that he liked plankton the most, despite being at the very bottom of the food chain, seems insignficant yet still manages to shine/illuminate the sea when light hits it. That planktons contribute oxygen even on the verge of dying, gives life to everything around it. I think that pretty sumps up ML’s life yet. The parallelism is undeniable.

I know that they aren't related by blood. But since the FL is always on and about having two older brothers, I don’t want that tainted.

Here I am wishing the kids stay the way they are, siblings love until the end. It doesn't have to be romantic or love triangle trope all the time for a Kdrama to be loved or successful. What they have is so precious.

This is a refreshing concept. I get this feeling of modern day process of training/debuting idols but pansori style.

I’ve been saying this! Sadly he’s a victim of the (full) Korean main character syndrome. This is why a lot of foreign chefs were ousted early on in the competition. With Chef Edward’s range and creativity, he’ll surely win against Matfia if the Tofu Hell was the deciding challenge.

Agree! The tofu cooking hell is best suited for final 2, as it will showcase their cooking prowess. I wonder if Napoli Matfia’s cooking range can match that of Chef Edward’s.

The only romance I’m rooting for on this show is the landlady and Kang Bitna’s assistant!

I’m so sorry to say this but I am starting to get annoyed at Han Da On’s character in the show ever since he hid under the hospital bed. Haha!
