This show is super frustrating to watch, all the helplessness and idiocy. Why do I feel like it has become a very expensive self-promoting Don Lee movie? Such a waste of cast.
I think this is my least fave Lee Dong Wook project. I finished if for the sake of my time investment but he clearly has ZERO chemistry with Lee Sung Kyung. I was hoping at the end, they will show how his old gang ended up.
This drama has the music aspect to it but it is not giving, half-baked if I may say. What kept me going honestly is the family dynamics. The bromance is more interesting with Park Hoon. Not a fan of the leads’ romantic arc. 7/10.
Se Hee should have been grinded into pieces alive just like what she did to those fetuses. That’s the most gruesome scene I’ve seen yet in my Kdramas experience.
On a lighter note, I rolled on the floor when one parent mentioned a return for “a lot of acnes” HAHAHAHA. I wonder how many kids will get returned if this was the case.
One very strong boredom signs for me as a K-content consumer for the longest time is when I start hitting the speed button and skipping scenes, which I clearly did a lot here, most esp. the romance plot. No chemistry at all with the ML and FL. I am so freaking annoyed on how she’s been a damsel in distress most of the time.
Lee Jae Wook delivered esp his fight scenes, to be fair. Never mind the Snow Man and more complaints about the charactes not fleshed out. 7/10. Trust me, that’s already me being generous.
Wow, impressive acting from KHN no less! That scene at the police station when he was tased while moving the mouse trying to sell his crypto, applause!

They even sport almost the same hairstyle in their recent dramas. Kwang Soo in Karma and Young Kwang here in Trigger.
