I don't know if it is unpopular, but I couldn't agree more with you. This will probably will be a 9 for me, and LR was a 7 being generous (I enjoyed the laughs and the OST).

Someday or One Day and Shining for one thing are better than Lovely Runner, imo.
There is more depth in the story, and the characters seem real people, so everything they do is more relatable.

I have only watched four episodes of Lovely Runner so far, but at this moment I think Shining for one thing was a better drama.

I felt exactly the same about the ML. One of my favorite male leads in a C-drama so far. I had only watched Qu Chu Xiao in a movie before this drama. Now I'm looking forward to seeing other of his roles.
