Me watching every episode of Phantom Lawyer:šŸ˜¢šŸ˜‚šŸ˜šŸ¤£šŸ˜šŸ˜‚šŸ˜šŸ¤£šŸ˜This drama makes me looked crazy.
Seriously. I have a cold and was a snotty mess after yesterday’s episode. Sure it’s going to be worse today with his father’s scenes.

Siho's dad lost his parents AND his young son to unrelated tragic circumstances. the way they made this random…
I felt so bad for him. I hope he reconciled with his wife because he does not deserve to be alone.

Finally the real MVP of k drama, the white truck of doom, made an appearance on this show.

Today felt like a filler episode since tomorrow’s preview looks like it’s filled with drama, but I did appreciate a few scenes. The hospital scene between the two of them was really sweet with them caring about the other (and I definitely saw sparks when he touched her forehead). I also loved the King worrying about Hui Ju at the hospital and wish we saw some more scenes of them bonding. Hui Ju sticking it to the snobby queen at the banquet was the perfect ending. I get so mad when I look at her haughty face since she’s still trying to stay relevant.

It’s also nice that the brother isn’t the mastermind behind the car tampering. I was afraid they would go this route with the Castle credit card angle, but it was just so he could help find the culprit.

I got annoyed with the FL in ep. 1 and found her obnoxious in ep. 2 - not sure I'll be able to complete watching…
It’s weird that she is written as being capable and nice at work, but is dumb and rude at the farm. Pick a lane, writers. You don’t have to dumb down a FL to write a drama.

I don't think anyone is excusing his behavior but explaining it and having empathy for him. We can both acknowledge…
You’re right. It’s nice to see a show tackle these realistic, ugly human emotions.

The drama’s title zero creativity, they really should consider changing it.
You got your wish since they seem to have changed it to Spellbound, which is much better.

Did you watch episode 2 yet? there’s been some progress with the Eight club and Agit bar.
Happy to hear and don’t mind being spoiled. Thanks!

Can’t believe the main couple are still the greenest flag/least toxic couple I’ve ever seen. Honestly communicating and not keeping anything from each other. What a breath of fresh air among k drama couples. Same with the uncle and aunt- they are so adorable and happy and wear their heart on their sleeve. Love them both so much!

The best friend and VP continue to be a hoot. Love their hilarious expressions and constant meddling. I would take this all day over a stupid triangle.

The stepmother continues to be a snobby jerk. They were in the wrong and had the audacity to be sarcastic and rude towards Ju A’s parents. I miss the dad’s friendship but it is hilarious watching them be petty again. The actors seem to be having so much fun.

Boo to a sickness storyline. We don’t need that amongst the family drama.

No I haven’t but looking forward to it! Episode one was mentally exhausting so had to take a break. There’s only so much self loathing I can handle.

I know people are excusing Dong man’s behavior as being realistic since he’s hiding his pain and depressed, but he is so annoying, rude and has a lack of self awareness that it’s hard to watch. I know this is how some depressed people act, it’s just frustrating to watch right now. I don’t understand why his successful college ā€œfriendsā€ still hang out with him and invite him to things if he annoys them that much. Stop having him come to dinners if he spends the whole time stuffing his face and repeating the same stories- you aren’t doing him any favors by watching him flounder and then talk crap behind his back.

Go Youn Jung is freaking gorgeous. She’s not wearing any makeup and is meant to look tired and worn out, but she’s still stunning.

Oh Jung Se losing it because of Dong-man is hilarious. Poor guy needs to find a therapist because that is a LOT of rage aimed at one person. His wife seems to be a very level headed person.

Choi Won Young has been in everything I’ve watched this year. He’s always such a treat to watch, and I appreciate that all his minor characters are different.

Dong Ik is truly his worst enemy. He was having such great character growth and it’s all gone. What an idiot.

Felt like an obvious freeze frame before cutting to credits. When they show the full scene at the start of episode…
They had to show the slow mo of Ian looking like the glowing knight in shining armor with the perfectly shaped cut under his eye to tide us over until next week. This director really knows what the fans want.

If Jin Mu is the villain, then we are watching the laziest "casting" decision of the year. But then, I'm…
I would have nightmares of him ringing those stupid bells.

Ep 12 was cute and I wonder what will happen next. It seems next episode will be sad again, I am just too weak…
I can imagine the bloopers of the actors trying to keep a straight face during these hilarious scenes. After the last few characters that were so serious, so happy that Yoo Yeon Seok can be as silly as he wants to be.

They want someone who they can control as Yi An’s wife. They don’t like the scandal and risks with possibilities:-…
Makes sense!

I Rang? Or Huiju? You mean Huiju, right?
Shoot yes, thanks. I still have Phantom Lawyer on my brain and accidentally put his name (which is ironically also the Queen’s name).

What is the Queen and Jin Mu’s (hee!) endgame to get in the way of Ian and Hui Ju having a relationship? Isn’t it good for them if he has a scandal relationship/wedding so they can kick him out of the palace, especially if they are worried that he wants to be King? Makes zero sense. I’m sick of looking at the Queen’s face at this point since she has the same constipated look all the time pretending she’s sick or whatever her useless self does.

I love how they didn’t make Hui Ju the typical cold, spoiled chaebol heir, and she has a fun, independent personality and is nice to the palace staff. She also can take care of herself, with the egg scene and trying to stop the car herself before Ian stepped in. Can’t wait for her to go in full protection mode over Ian and the King. Also appreciate that her brother and sister in law aren’t the typical awful villains.
