Same! I couldn't touch the thing for a while. Just like you, I was loving it before it got complicated. Then the big reveals started flowing in and oof! But after sitting on it for a few weeks, I was already in too deep. Invested too much time on it already that it was like...what's another couple hours of mess? I'd already committed to it. But once the show was over, I felt the most surreal sense of relief yet unease I've ever gotten from a romance drama. And I think it's because you hit the nail on the head there by calling it a horror. It bypassed romance and went straight into Nightmareville with that plot. I'm just relieved now, as it seems (from what you and a few others have said) that the directors took notes from S1 and decided to change some aspects of it that viewers had issues with. I guess S2 is their redo second chance so they aren't practically handing out mental abuse how-to guides to people!

Thank you so much for your detailed response. It actually clears up a lot and makes me less apprehensive to attempt watching it. I usually try to give everything an equal chance, but S1 threw me for a gargantuan loop. I couldn't believe anyone found his actions romantic or justifiable in any sort of sense lol. But as long as he's more or less an "improved" version of his S1 self, I just might be able to watch this version yet haha. Thanks again!
Okay so... this is a parallel universe where he's still a creepy stalker but gets to change the way in which he…
This entire comment had me howling with laughter, to be honest lol. Thank you so much for saying all of this. The male lead had me nauseated in the first season. He should have been commited. Because of that, I've been terrified of watching S2 in fear of it being much like S1. Well, surprise to literally no one, it is. How glorious. #MoreSarcasmFont
I've been so traumatized by the plot twist in S1 that the one in this season seems rather laughable, though it…
Oh my god, okay thank you. I was absolutely terrified by Ling Yi Zhou's character in S1. He was honestly, a psycho. I don't care about spoilers, but can you tell me if he does anything creepy like he did in S1 in this season? Because when I think back to that fake medical report, fake surgery, all the lies, all because he "loved" her, I shudder. I don't want to see that again haha.
To my understanding, this is an alternate universe plot and they aren't technically the same characters as they were in S1. However, I was horrified by his games and constant mind-f*cking towards Xia Lin in the first season. When I think about how he made a fake medical report for her to think she has Leukemia, to then have her follow him around and be rude to her, then admit her into a fake surgery to get a nonexistant transplant and yadda yadda, all because he was secretly in love with her for a long time and she didn't even know he existed...I get goosebumps. His character scared the shit out of me and I don't want to watch him act like a total creep all over again. So in conclusion, (sorry about my rant, S1 really struck a nerve) can someone tell me if Lin Yi Zhou is as crooked and cunning in S2 as he was in the first season? Thank you.
Did anybody else get the impression from the last episode that Japan and Junior are possibly siblings? Or can anybody confirm or refute that? I feel like Tanthai went to Junior's house but Japan was there instead with the cat and was talking about how his mom wants him to talk to the cat a certain way and blah blah. But he also said that Junior had left (even though Junior told Tanthai that he'd be taking a shower). So I'm assuming they live in the same house? And therefore could possibly be brothers???
WTF is happening, there are some lines missing, subs are incomplete sometimes. Is it Why R U 2.0?
Agreed. Subbers have been SLACKING lately. Oh, well. I'm sure more versions with better subs will pop up in the near future like they usually do and then we can all rewatch those various missing bits if we feel the need to.
Can we talk about the fact that Sin sold Pharm for shoes? :D
This comment made me genuinely laugh out loud. I was also wondering if anyone else would find it as funny as I did. I guess blood doesn't run thicker than designer brands, eh? :p
@sony25t I agree with you! My friend and I laughed to tears at "let me ride you home" and then in the first episode…
That has been exactly me with every episode, as well lol. I'm sitting here like "Petition to have a beta group go in and edit these sentences pre-release of each episode!" You and I can volunteer lmao! :p
This episode was all over the place. But the phrase “Tutor let me ride you” said repeatedly, has been the…
@sony25t I agree with you! My friend and I laughed to tears at "let me ride you home" and then in the first episode where Saifah says "clam down" instead of "calm down". SEVERAL TIMES!!! I feel delirious after these subtitles. They're hilarious without even trying to be. Bless whomever is subbing these episodes haha :,)

I was actually directing it at Just Me Now, as well. Didn't realize that I tagged your name in it. I was also adding to what you had said because I was in agreement with you... It was an accident...
I thought it was because Tutor is a senior and Zon is a first year student. In episode 3 SaiFah calls him Nong…
Sai called him Nong just to tease him. Especially because he keeps calling him "My Zon" and stuff. He's teasing Zon with cliche characteristics that are in other BL series (ex: Sotus, 2Moons, UWMA, etc, where there's an older guy and a younger guy dating and typically the older one is the seme and the younger is the uke). They are both sophomores.
Omg thank you haha. I'm so glad it's not just me. The way he interacts with Zon is completely different than how he acts with everyone else and it's also different than how the rest of the friends treat Zon! Zen is so soft with him. I have the feels lol.
Is it just me, or is anyone else also getting a vibe that Zen might secretly like Zon? I've felt this since the first episode but after this last one, I feel it even more. Am I just seeing things? Haha
I almost cried in the first episodes when Pharm had flashbacks about KornIn’s dead but now it’s been 800 times…
I agree with all of that. Kao really stole the thunder from Ohm with that fantastic beach kiss! haha. I was totally impressed. Sometimes, it almost seems like Kao & Earth have better chemistry onscreen than Ohm & Fluke do, which is unfortunate because Ohm & Fluke are technically the leads in this and KornIn are supposed to be in the background. But here they are, stealing the show from the leads and giving us great content and chemistry lol. I mean, I'm not complaining. But it is interesting.
