This is helpful info. I use Microsoft Edge for dramas and Chrome for work so I'll look for an ad blocker for Edge. Do you know if the other sites often mentioned here are safe as well? Like dramacool or others? I'm in the U.S. and I'm nervous about opening up sites like that especially because I use this computer for work (from home) as well as watching tv. I stream Viki and Netflix and Amazon and those are all fine, obviously, but there are others that carry J-doramas and other K-dramas that I can't get anywhere else but I haven't gone that route yet. (Also I have subscribed off and on to OnDemandKorea but they don't always sub in English so it's hit or miss.)

I'm excited for the third season! It took me a while to get into the second season for the exact reasons you stated - it felt like it was disconnected to the first season and I didn't want to have to go through all of the waiting and angst until they found each other again. But it's such a great drama and the leads are so perfect.

Yes they were on and off for years, but they were permanently off once he decided how he felt about the FL and he let her know that. You can also see how he felt about his ex when she moved to be close to him.

You're all over the place here. It is an absolute and unimpeachable fact that black men were lynched (murdered) for hundreds of years in this country (U.S.), and one big reason was because white women falsely made claims of sexual harassment and rape. But you then undid your good point by claiming that two Supreme Court Justices' reputations were tarnished because "women made claims." Both of those Justices had very clear and substantiated evidence against them but powerful men (and women) protected and enabled them. The folks in Congress chose not to believe Anita Hill and we got Clarence Thomas. Brett Kavanaugh is a disgusting human being, a rapist and sniveling sexual predator who should never have been confirmed. Those women were not believed even though there was ample evidence. So both scenarios have happened, and continue to happen here. Women can be both victimized and the victimizer.
I actually know nothing about the case that caused this OP, and I tend not to respond because I don't know and it's not my culture. But I do know about sexual violence, patriarchy and misogyny and how they manifest as problems the entire world over. Both men and women have been the cause of suffering and are also survivors.

Slapping other people's faces has GOT TO STOP in dramas, and IRL. It's violent and unnecessary.

So three years later I'm finally getting to read your comment, and I want to say that I AGREE with you!!! And three years later, it's not much better on here than it was then, unfortunately. I usually don't read any comments from my most favorite dramas because then I would just be pissed off by all the negative commenting. I have reviewed at least one drama very critically on here, but on the whole I try not to be overly negative and snarky. There is just so much to like about Asian media.
To be honest, I like the reviews on Viki much better, but I do enjoy the longer articles on this site a lot. And I've actually started blocking some of the commenters that I'm most consistently annoyed by - so that's helped some! :-)

That's not the female lead's fault. If you don't like the plot, blame the writers and/or don't watch. I am so confused by people who blame characters for their decisions....they don't write themselves into situations, the writers do. Also, you might not personally like folks who have affairs, but that doesn't mean the FL didn't do a good job in her role, as written.
