Am I the only one who thought this was extremely boring?
I loved it (a LOT actually), but I guess it's not for everyone

Did I miss where people are judging Muslim dress and culture here? Many of us are saying that this article is…
So I don't disagree with your sentiments, at all, and actually many of us might be trying to say something very similar here. We're usually only given the Dispatch side of things, in badly written articles, which often insult our intelligence.
I'd like to either not hear about this, or read articles that give more history and background and not just gossip. In that way, the editorials here were more interesting as they were given space to explore ideas in a creative way.

But I do need to say that, as an American, there is something that happens when the rest of the world sees your culture from the outside and thinks they know it, full stop. And as an American, I'm seeing this happen to you all in SK as your media goes further and further around the world. This has both positives and negatives that can come from it, but one thing that has had implications on both sides is that we Americans were confronted for years about our past (and current) injustices and prejudices by international viewers, especially from those folks who had rights and privileges that we didn't have, or allow anyone else to have. By hearing criticism about these things it often gave power to folks here to advocate for needed changes...and it also helped to have more representation on our own screens.
I do feel the same way about your country and the some changes that might help everyone feel more secure in their lives. But that doesn't take away from everything that you're doing right, either.
(I'm not saying that outside criticism is the only thing brings change - far from it, but I think it's one of the pieces.)

MDL has gotten rid of most of the editorials and other drama-themed articles that many of us have enjoyed for years, in exchange for often-sloppily-written, often-typo-ridden "news" articles that take over the page for days on end. Many of them seem like they're lifted directly from Dispatch or other tabloid pages. Plus they're only about K-dramas and K-actors, as if MDL is K-only.....which it's not.

FWIW, I really like the two actors featured in this particular article, so I'm not complaining about them specifically - I'm complaining about the glut of these kinds of articles in a space that was very different not very long ago. (I'm not the only one complaining either:

This is a prime example of what I'm talking about, where they couldn't even bother to spell his name right and was very badly written:

Try some short dramas, like Maid's Revenge, Forever Love (2023) (two red-green flag MLs) and Supervisor Husband,…
I'm sure there are others I haven't mentioned that are worth watching as well. It's a great question you asked :-)

I enjoyed watching this drama. but I think this is overrated, agree?I mean if the FL wast played by Bia lu it…
I don't agree at all. The acting, the writing, the filming techniques, the OST, the intricate storyline(s), the chemistry - only a tiny fraction depended on Bai Lu (who I absolutely love btw). This was a team effort and it is in no way overrated.

Please suggest me some more dramas with this kind of male lead. Like someone who's obviously not a red flag but…

IMO, what is far more likely is that the Dispatch is a covert asset of one (or more) corrupt state investigation…
Your watchlist is public for anyone to look at.
I haven't seen My Demon so I have no idea what the fuss is about, and I despise Dispatch.
In response to what mostersnroses commented, I asked you a question about why you've rated so many dramas 1 star while not indicating that any episodes were watched at all. That raises suspicion in those of us who have been on MDL for a long time and have been asking for an overhaul of the ratings system here.

Review Prism
Why did you only give it a 7.5? It sounds like you liked it a lot.

You should make this a review!
But that's what reviews are! (Personal opinions.) It helps with the overall ratings to have good reviews out there and it also helps other people want to see it (and I think more folks should see this film too.)

Like I wrote in the review, I tried to watch episode 2 and was willing to update the review if the show improved.…
Most dramas need more than 15 minutes, or even the first episode to set up where they're trying to go. Ratings, IMHO, shouldn't be given after only watching one episode.

Did you write this review and give that rating after watching only one episode?

I hope you write this comment as a review as well - it's really well-said
He was morose for a reason...which was one of the whole plots of the drama. I wrote in my review that it's one of the best portrayals of depression and social anxiety that I've ever seen on screen.
He wasn't tsundere in the classic sense, in my opinion, he had significant depression and anxiety. I'm not saying that he was easy to be around, it's obvious that everything in his life suffered because of his illness, but as he learned to love and accept himself (and someone else) more, his mood and his environment lightened. The lighting even went from pretty dark to much lighter by the end.
