She is a descendant of the Hwanggan Kyeon clan through her maternal side, which makes her a descendant of Gyeon Hwon, who was the first king of the Hubaekje kingdom during the Later Three Kingdoms of Korea.
Lee changed her real name, Lee Joo Hee, to Lee Ra Yoon ahead of her marriage. It is a Buddhist name that she recently changed to, but she did not change her stage name.
Through the actress' agency 9ato Entertainment, it was confirmed on May 24, 2021, that she started dating fellow actor Lee Seung Gi. The couple got married in a private wedding ceremony on April 7, 2023 and on February 5th, 2024 they welcomed their first daughter.
