So far, I don’t think we see him in awed of her looks, even that scene when she dressed up on the business trip we didn’t get a reaction from him. Or the scenes were cut, who knows? I don’t think she would be his type to begin with, but because the ONS happened and she’s found later to be enduring and pleasing and it befits him. Another scenario, she is his type, pure and simple, that’s why he was initially bothered with her (it’s not all about her lack of work experience) either way he’s unknowingly falling now.

Not really. Secret relationship can still bloom. It can still be a perfect healthy normal relationship where two people come together and learn to love entirely. Have both their hearts was in it fully. Others don’t need to learn or be involved. Despite calling it dating, we know and they know they are just F-buddies. That’s why disaster is imminent.

But honestly yeah their level of communication and her timidness and constant shy discomfort around him is saying otherwise. Yeah to my understanding he didn’t use ai but the subs said otherwise. So it was wrong…or like you point out, he may be asking her rhetorically? In other words, can she handle a relationship without emotions? Which she said yes. But he left kind of disappointed with her response? so maybe not??? Especially later when he was with his buddy, he recalled her words, and says if she can control herself then why should he be the first to lose control. It sounded more like he was really counting on her to say no, she can’t control her feelings which he knew she was falling for him, so that she would have no choice but to fall in bed with him soon. Sigh, there is something off about the script, and the back and forth. I feel like the author or producer pushing certain things that does not fully go well or reflect each other. A lack of consistency in every episode but whatever. Watching for him. Take away the brain lol

I didn’t like that she transferred. Good to know the original didn’t have that. That move portrayed her immature and weak. After all she was speaking about growing up overnight and wanting to do well in her job, the first thing she does is sleeps with the boss and transfer to the other department. Well, she still sees him every day and sits at the same desk. lol. Okay. Talk about professionalism. It was the first golden opportunity to show her growing up by owning her “ONS accident” and moving on without bringing it to work. Instead, putting even more attention to herself and creating an uncomfortable energy at work for a minute between the teams. Way to go, Flora 🤣

Honestly, I find it hard that he’s physically attracted to her. Mostly I think he’s more into the physical release and she’s a pleaser and that’s sits with him perfectly. I’m not sold on her attractions, but the drama does shows little by little he’s getting attached. This drama should have been called the early fall, hence the season and falling in love lol

I’m confused too! If they’re dating now, and it’s been a year since they got together or whatever because we saw she had another birthday right. Why is she still acting all shy and new with him? Like she’s uncomfortable, all awkward…you would think there is some development in their communication minus the emotions but it appears they are still very new to it? They can hardly text and why the end of ep 10, after she saved that misprinted project, they are so dramatic staring at the phone and acting frustrated. I guess they are strictly pillow friends, very much strangers! No wonder why their relationship didn’t go nowhere for six years. Home girl thinks every Friday is a whole new lifetime lol. Idk, I also thought some words were lost in translation. Like the word love was frequently used from him…hmm???

I was also wondering the same. Lost in translation or did he really use the word ‘ai’? The BIG love word being tossed casually around wasn’t what I expected from him? Can someone who understands Chinese clarify? With the ex gf he asked her when there is no love, should he still stay in the relationship…I don’t think one moment he ever loved that girl too. If anything, I think he would only use the word desire, lust, feelings, affection? That is more his line. No way he’s speaking love that easily when we know he’s not that committed…

Hmm, 1-4 is alright, just so-so. Not too convinced of the chemistry between the two leads or the pacing of the story. The script isn’t giving excellence or intrigue but I’m not really expecting that much either. I just need to feel something… since we mostly saw the younger actors together, hopefully chemistry is there for Film and Bua going forward. Another thing, I’m not into BL and not familiar with all the pretty boys. Where’s all the macho men? Lol, I was suddenly thinking all Asians looked alike. (The smirks from Alex was annoying as heck!) Though, I have enjoyed Film before but not lately. Here, I’m wondering if his character should be altruistic or autistic? (There was a scene he didn’t seem to grasp his grandmother’s simple words?) Besides the way his mother and grandmother treat him is unhealthy. One treats him like a punching bag, while the other coddles him like a child. From decorating his room with his favorite pastime, to dressing his wound and putting the blanket over him while he was sleep smiling like a baby was not the man I have in mind, lol. Thank you for a loving grandmother, but I wanted a strong lead. Sigh, I guess his character is numb from all his trauma and abuse? Film at least is capturing that hollowness perfectly. Lastly, it’s obvious that the girl is theirs. It’s in her name. Dao for star, star-gazing. She is cute, this little actress has charisma. Will keep watching to see how it goes.

I think ML is a mix between Bai Jing Ting and Chen Yi. There are some actors that should never be ML , not ML material at all, and I avoid their dramas like the plague. Chen Yi is one of them, he’s just cringe for me. As for this ML he was borderline for me, I try to gaslight myself that he’s alright and I don’t know, it kind of worked for a few episodes but the romance sequence and chemistry in the drama wasn’t working for me. Better luck next time, I guess!
