Just spotted it on Netflix... a perfect excuse for a rewatch. It made me realize how much I miss seeing Song Hye-kyo in romantic comedies. She has such great comedic timing and can genuinely pull off the funny, lighthearted roles. I really hope she signs on for another comedy or romcom soon.

Same here. This drama had me so completely hooked that I actually ended up writing my first-ever review on MDL because of it. I’ve never been that invested in a drama or series before.

I last saw him in The Secret Life of My Secretary, and he looks quite different. It’s probably just the camera angle or the way he was styled, but it definitely caught me off guard.

Because a big part of the appeal in many BL stories is the fantasy that a male character who previously identified as straight, or never showed interest in anyone before, falls in love only with that *one* specific guy. That exclusivity is central to the emotional draw for a lot of fans. I think adding a thruple or any kind of poly relationship structure won’t resonate with the core audience as it shifts the focus away from that one-to-one, “he’s the only one for me” dynamic that many audience are looking for.

The opening episode was a letdown. We'll see how it goes.

I’m not sure about “like”, but it’s clear in the first two episodes that Fan Xiao is strongly attracted to Shulang. Shulang unravels him, and he’s the motivation behind whatever he’s plotting.

Personally, I think it's overrated. There's nothing particularly groundbreaking here, nor does it offer much depth. It's just the typical school-life BL setup with the classic secret crush storyline. The charm lies in the sheer cuteness of the main characters and their interactions, which is likely what drives its high rating.

Arguably one of the best, if not the best, talent search reality programs ever produced on Philippine TV, that set a high standard in discovering and showcasing exceptional local talent.

The earlier episodes delivered much stronger humor compared to the more recent ones, but the show remains enjoyable and still manages to entertain.

Based on his actor profile here on MDL, he also appeared in another gay-romance–themed series called "You Never Eat Alone". Tho I’m not entirely sure whether it actually qualifies as a BL. I haven’t watched it yet.
