it had the potential to be really interesting but the plot holes and plot armor for the main characters just threw…
Isn't 6 the entire point here? Because she was not acting "as expected" everyone got biased. Because she was not grieving as expected. Add the fact that she smokes, and she is an "artist" and everyone just assumed she was "bad". I think the actress did a phenomenal job of portraying her. Also with all the references she made to crime series, I think she 100% didn't think she was seriously considered as a suspect until she got arrested, she just thought it was part of the process. I think 4. could have been good if it was better executed, if there was a "good" reason for the murder I feel like it would have been over the top. But the lack of reason, I feel, would have worked better if the wife acted alone as she seemed more like a "psychopath" than her husband. 2. She was waiting for the son, not the police. She even sent a message from his parent phone so that he would come home. It seemed like she expected the son to be there in order to kill his parents in front of him.
But yeah, this was good, but it would have been so great if they had tightened things up more, and it could have been shorter. But I think one of the great point is 6.
This has been bugging me following EP 4. I don't know if it's the same for you all. However, irrespective of the…
Based on my kdrama experience, the chaebols never have surveillance inside their private house or in the most critical places. I think it's so that there is no trace and no record of the shady stuffs going on inside. I don't know if that's true irl though, at least I guess it kind of makes sense
8.1 rating? Seems really low for K-drama standards. Is it that bad?
There are only 2 episodes out, even if the rating was 9.9 or 2.7, it wouldn't mean anything. Personally found it okay so far, quite a few awkwardness, but I will probably check out the episodes next week before I settle my opinion. There is a trigger warning, so make sure it's not triggering for you.
This drama was really refreshing, cute, fun and to the point. I can totally see myself rewatching it when I am in a K-drama slump. I liked all the actors, and will keep an eye on their future projects.
ML have anger management issues and FL have trust issues. In the drama we saw how these two "mad" people strangely…
I don't feel like their mental issue are "solved" at the end. The ML gets back his job but he still has an outburst after he gets the note from the doctor. And the FL issues is not something that is solve just because she trusts and date the ML now but I guess they could have done a better job at showing that their mental illness does not magically disappear.
I'm only on episode 5, but I can't stand Min Kyung. She is such a b****. She's a total pain in the ass and only…
I feel like the b word is a bit strong tho. While it does not excuse her behavior, she does have a reason for her behavior. Her mental illness makes her think that what she imagines is the reality. There are plenty of kdrama where people that are supposed to be healthy do crazier things for no reason. I would have like a full scene where she properly apologizes but she does somehow apologize to Hwi Oh and buys him meal. And since Hwi oh accepts that, I feel like it's not my place to judge her too harshly especially since I don't know what it's like to live with her mental illness.
Why is nobody talking about ik jun and song hwa......his expressions, though he didn't say anything, I felt his…
I think that Song Hwa like him as a best friend. She liked him back in college, that's a while ago. Also, based on last season and this rejection, it seems like Song Hwa is not very interested in dating anyone, maybe there is more that we don't know
I had the same experience as you. I think that watching it while it was airing made it better too. This drama…
Well, when it's done well, slice of life can be super engaging. I am thinking about Reply 1988 or Hospital playlist. Maybe you are right that with fewer episodes it would have been better but I really liked the speed at which the main couple evolved.
The show was really good , it was soothing, it was true to real life scenarios, even though no one in real life…
I had the same experience as you. I think that watching it while it was airing made it better too. This drama is definetely not binge watching material. I can't pinpoint either but I feel like this fail at being a proper slice of life but also fail at having a strong, engaging storyline. This drama is carried by the amzingly portrayed true to life main characters and their quirky but somewhat realstic interactions. If we had a really strong storyline or a properly made slice of life framework, I think it would have gone to the next level.
I think I found out Seung Jae's motive. Seung Jae was the most angry when the rapist came to the school in Prof. Jung Eun's class and also it keeps being mentioned that he is trying to have a child with his wife but they are having difficulties. Also, he said, "It's because of you" to prof. Jung Eun. so I think that his daughter was the rapist victim and he said that because Prof. Jung Eun shortened the sentence of the culprit. I just can't figure what is his final goal, what is he trying to achieve with his cheating...
I totally expected something similar to "How to get away with murder", but despite the similarities, this is going in a different direction. It's been interesting so far and it's surprisingly getting better each episode. I hope I will be able to see the students and the professor working as 1 team at some point.
I mean, he is cheating so I am not sure if he is really that good at law... I can't wait to know his backstory…
Once Prof. Yang case is over I doubt that he will let Kan Sol B get away with the plagiarism and from the vibe I am getting it feels like Seung Jae will quit law school. He can be a full time hacker anyway. I am really curious about the rest of his conversation with Prof. Jung Eun. We will probably learn more next ep.
Wow!! Seung jae is good at hacking computers, he has medical knowledge also, he is apparently good at law also....looks…
I mean, he is cheating so I am not sure if he is really that good at law... I can't wait to know his backstory tho, I am really curious why he went from medecine to law
I see she's cancelled her press conference appearances. The snowball effect may be catastrophic. For the sake…
I am pretty sure that the K-netizen extremism precede the cancel culture by a lot. For as long as I have been into kdrama and kpop, "public opinion" (or more like k-netizen opinion) has had a huge effect on the career of entertainers.
I don't understand how Ba Reum could be the 7DS killer all along. Why was Yo Han trying to kill Ba Reum at the…
Well for sure they made Yo Han super suspicious from the start and I really hope they have a very good reason for his suspicious behaviour (but I don't have my hopes up honnestly). What they found at Yo Han place are pictures of the crime scene (there are ways to obtian those) and I think a zipper that was in Doctor daniel car. They didn't find the tokens from the last two victims (the priest and the gradma), they didn't find the kidnapped kid. I think they are probalby going to spin it the way you said and make it seem that Yo Han was tracking the 7DS killer but it is just dumb. I am ok with him tracking the 7DS but he knew the police was suspicious of him and he just continually kept acting suspicious, his friend died, he didn't say anything and was just quiet until he himself died. For someone smart, I just can't understand what he was trying to do. So I really still don't feel bad from his death even if I am 90% sure Ba reum is the killer now.
But isn t the lawyer the killer of the two victims?
The burnt one was not the lawyer for sure but the woman in the gown was the lawyer I think since Moo chi found the card of the club at her place. Ba Reum probably dissociated and imagined the necklace and pin or placed it himself if he have them.
I don't know anymore lol. If BR was the killer, how was he able to help Moo chi? At this point, I don't know what's…
Only the murder of the grandma for sure he couldn't have done beacause he was with Moo Chi. He could have found a way to trick the kid. During the tv show I just remember him being in a taxi lol. The only thing I am confused is how he fought with Bong Yi in the church if his leg was broken. Maybe he faked it and his leg was already healed. Also the fact that the killing stopped when Yo Han and Ba Reum were in the hospital make him sus. I don't think a psychopath that like to brag like that would stop just because the police think that they found the culprit.
I think 4. could have been good if it was better executed, if there was a "good" reason for the murder I feel like it would have been over the top. But the lack of reason, I feel, would have worked better if the wife acted alone as she seemed more like a "psychopath" than her husband.
