By the time this show ends, I will have to rate it a 10. The team works so hard, and Producer Nah has been hired as the dish washer.

I think these directors are living in a bubble. I would be surprised if they even sat through an entire drama, to appreciate the effort and commitment of the viewers.

They should have invited the butcher and grocer who supplied the meats and vegetables.

I live eight miles from L.A. Koreatown, but I would not know which restaurants to eat at, or what to order.. Watching every episode, I want to taste all the dishes. I increased my rating to 9, for the foods and the teamwork. The customers enjoyed the food. the Korean customer was so excited to get free kimchi and gochujang.

Song of Glory ending was dumb.

The drama started out whimsical, but the plot went darker. I was in shock, watching the final episode.

I just watched the final episode today (August 11, 2024), and I can't stop sobbing. So sad and heartbreaking!

All the holes in the plot were filled in by Li Ying Liang. Li was on screen a lot, for a supporting character. I watched the entire show, and didn't skip any scenes, btw.

Director needs the psychologist since he seems to make unhinged endings, from the comments I have read.

If this is your expectation, why even bother to watch c-dramas?

That was a mother from Hell. She is very lucky she still had a roof to live under, at the end.

When we sit through forty episodes, with filler, flashbacks, villains, etc, the least the directors could do, is give us a feel good ending.

BE equals bad ending or bittersweet ending? 😒😏

Snowfall! It was made three years ago. The budget might have been alllocated the year before.

I can understand that a production company wants to protect itself against plagiarism charges. That doesn't mean they should go off on a complete tangent, and contradict the original work. There is a reason why the novel had a fan base, and the viewers can spot the holes in the plot.

Shen was self-absorbed. He had some interest in Young Liang, but didn't make a plan.

He could have kept his LYL intact, and ask for the budget for episode 25 when they were in production.

The ending, as written in Discussions had nothing objectionable. It was deleted by the Director. He wanted to make a SE.
