I saw the book in the early scene, and it said Season 1. That was a little disconcerting, because it would be an open ending or cliffhanger. Anyway, it's a 8.5 for me, after four episodes. First time, I rated a drama so high.

I wish they had dropped eight episodes on the first day. I hope they do two episodes daily, to keep the momentum going.

I was looking forward to the Guardians showing up to rescue Xu Qi'An. I am excited for the drama.

I just watched the first episodes, and I am giving it 8.5. I didn't think I would like it. I am excited to watch this drama. Dylan Wang sold me on the drama. I disliked the Aunt, but she is thawing out. I don't see Xu Qi'an and his cousin as a couple. She looks 13 years' old. I hope he and the Alchemist Lady become a couple.

The "face blindness" comment had me on the floor. 😆

LOL At first glance, I thought it was a real life wedding between Kim Hye Ja and Son Suk Ku. Thank goodness it is only a K-drama plot.

I struggled after three hours, and dropped it.

The writer must have deleted a lot of scenes from the script. Did I miss a brick wall falling on his head? I couldn't figure how he went from bad to nice suddenly.

I can't even justify why I bothered to watch this drama. I would have dropped it in the first five minutes. It was not even entertaining.

He and Wife were more suited for each other, They were both spoilt, arrogant belligerent, and cruel.

The FL should have run far far away from ML, in the end. I can't see how he changed character. A brick wall must have fallen on his head.

I watched the Tencent full version, and gave up in the last hour. This was an odd drama. City Lord Yin Ji was protagonist ML and antagonist second ML rolled into one. The writer probably had to consolidate two characters due to cost cutting measures. LOL Yin Ji couldn't make up his mind. He went from narcissistic personality disorder to pathetic lovesick puppy. I missed the scene where a brick fell on his head. Xie Yun endured the insults and degradation from Yin Ji and his Madam. The best scene was when she came out of her coma and slapped Yin Ji around. She should have walked away from Yin Ji at the end of the drama.

I just started binge watching this drama. City Lord and Wife are two of a kind. They need an attitude adjustment. So arrogant and condescending, they need to be slapped frequently. I feel for Xie Yun. I hope she has her revenge on them, but I am sure Yin Ji won't suffer for treating her badly. His attitude surely changed from four years prior when he was in love with Xie Yun. I am watching this drama after binge watching General Order last night. Cheng Yu Feng is a good main ML actor.

I started enslaved by Love. He is such an arrogant *** in the drama. I'll add Two Foxes to the watchlist.

It must be the director not prepping the actors, The sound is not good either. They might have recorded live on set, and not bother to redub in the studio, to remove all the extraneous background sounds.

I am checking out his other dramas now.

Also the scene earlier when she was dreaming about him. That was too funny and hot.

He acts like an imposter emperor, as if he was worried that he would be found out one day.

I binge watched the full version (3 hrs, 53 minutes) last night, and stayed for him.

He was probably rushed, and looked disconnected. When filming a ten minute episode, there is very little preparation. The director and writer probably handed the scripts to the cast, and gave them an hour to digest it before filming,

The General was cute. The scene when she was dreaming about him, was too funny.
