I have been ready for the smackdown for days. Granted, Chang Yu is not educated like the court and palace females, but she has integrity, determination, loyalty, resource and physical prowess. I don't think she deluded Xi Zheng, except when she drugged him before the battle.

So, Xie Wu is the second in command of the army? I was wondering who is running the show when Marquis is out of commission. Is Xie Wu related to Xie Zheng? Chang Yu needs to retrain the officers and soldiers. So many casualties, and some of them didn't even fight for five minutes.

This is the first time where the protagonist wasn't distracted, and went in for the kill.

We can count his fighting scenes on one hand, that might have been back in Lin An. I am disappointed that Xie Zheng has not demonstrated his Marquis warring reputation. I hope he finds his backbone in the next fourteen episodes. He needs some bone broth, ginger and ginseng soup to restore his health and strength. LOL

Ep 26; I was on the edge of my seat watching the battle. It was intense. The valiant Marquis gallops into the scene after Mrs Fan has defeated the enemy general. Great job done, Mrs Fan! This scene cancels out any cringey moments that preceded it. Marquis deluded Chang Yu with his improv scene, and continued until she drugged him. Once the lying had started twenty-five episodes ago, there was no way for him to retract it. Now the truth slaps both Chang Yu and Marquis in the face, and with Marquis, it will be a hard slap or two. They really should have showed ep 27 today.

Is Princess (is her name, Qi Shu?) related to Qi Min? Do the palace and court know his identity? Do they regard him as a black sheep relative?

She will become a legend throughout the Yin kingdom. Are Xie Wu and Xie Qi, the two soldiers who met secretly with Yan Zheng in Lin An? Wait until Qi Min hears about it. He will go off the rails. LOL

Eventually the soldiers will find out that she is Marquis wife, and that she kidnapped Prince Siu, and acquired the food supplies. Will they support her actions, since they got meat and grains and salt?
