Lee Sun Kyun was one of the mainstays of character acting. He hyponitized the camera, because he was recognizable on the little and big screens over the span of his career. I am be very sad and stunned that his life ended tragically. May your soul rest in peace, Young Man. 🙏🕯

LTG acted like a spoilt rich kid who throws tantrums. His wedding scene came out of left field. It must have been his "evil twin brother" who planned the wedding. Didn't he also have alternate wedding dresses for her... or was that the Wonderland of Love scene? LOL

I wrapped up the year with this drama, and it is stands out because of the characters and their relationships.

Ren Ruyi, played by Li Shi Shi, is the best female character, along with Ye Liu Xi (Parallel World), played by Ni Ni (corrected).

It's as if he has a split personality disorder. Me, Myself and Li Tong Guang! LOL

There were moments when he seemed to get out of his Ren Xin obsession phase, but he would relapse quickly. He was vacillating throughout the drama plot.

The voiceovers were glossing over the war and the outcome, especially when the director was detail oriented in the first thirty plus episodes of the drama.

I agree. I enjoyed the drama, despite the irritating Wu and An palace people, and LTG's bipolar moments. The main and secondary characters were very personable.

They didn't need the final scene. Just show the Liudao team and Ruyi riding off into the sunset.
