I watched seven episodes, and I am enjoying the drama, so far, and wish they would drop more episodes. After the first episode, I read that coroner Yang was going to have a face swap, and I wasn't too keen on the drama. After Shangguan Zhi took over her face, I began to accept Yang's new face.
I like Liu Xue Yi, and I am glad he has the main lead role. I also Ju Jing Yi, but I only finished two of her dramas. She looks very different here, even though she is still wearing ghastly white pancake makeup. I thought she was playing a witch in episode 1. LOL I wish they would make her look less ghostly in costume dramas. I like the actress who played the original Yang Cai Wei, but I can't find her name. I hope they do some flashbacking with her, so we can remember her. I am sorry she won't have a HE with Pan Yue. He truly loved her. The witch doctor would not be able to restore her face.
I was watching episode snippets of Love Just Come with Han Dong, on Youtube today, out of curiosity. This has to be a drama farce. The relationship with the ML and FL reminds of the 2000 Kdrama Autumn Tale, with Song Seung Heon and Song Hye Kyo. The ML and FL were exchanged at birth. Years later they fall in love. In the end, they did not end up together.
I haven't watched Love Just Come, but I am guessing it should have been only 30 episodes. with half the plot on the cutting room floor. The production company must have greenlighted this drama because they wanted to create a C-drama version of Autumn Tale. I can't believe the writers got paid to write this drivel. LOL
I am watching this drama in February 2024. I recognized Jung Hye Young who was the crazy SLS in Phoenix with Lee Seo Jin. They had a reunion two decades later.
I loved this drama so much but my one complaint is that there was not enough of MXD and Lin lin. They left us…
I agree with you. I looked forward to MXD's screen time. The writer could have allocated fifteen minutes of script time to MXD and Lin Lin, to give them a well deserved happy ending.
True! I don't think there were any falling down drunk cringing characters in this drama. LOL
Since there are thirty episodes, you think they could develop the Meng-Lin side love story, and give them a happy ending. The writer wrapped up Jiang Yang's story, and gave him a son. I have no recall of his wife, though. The son looked like he was five years' old.
Dude, what was up with that whole live confession in front of everyone? So unnecessary and weird. Like the hosts…
Those two hosts thought they were hosting a dating game show or the preshow of an awards show. Their commentaries throughout the drama were badly acted or written. I cringed every time they showed up on screen. The only positives were that they were pretty, and spoke perfect English.
