Drama writers are usually writing filler on a page, to get paid. XD

I thought I was being picky, when I watched episodes 1 and 2. Fu Pei annoyed me in every scene. He is not a reliable person, and manipulates people for his convenience.

He is unreliable in the first two episodes, which I watched today. I watched the final episodes, and he redeemed his character.

I could see that Fu Pei was shallow and selfcentered from his first scene in episode 1. I am glad he matured by the end of the drama.

I watched the first two episodes today, after meeting Xing Fei in Side Story of Fox Volant. That friend, Fu Pei, is the worst type of friend, a leech and a narcissist. He already had my BP up.

I recognized Lin Yi from the Blessed Girl. Tang Xiao Tian reminds of me Choi Tae-Joon, husband of Park Shin-hye.

He's one of those creatures that Saruman (LOTR) dug up from under the earth.

That scene was so sad, but Hu Fei appears to know that she likes him.

She seems to emote more emotion on her face and eyes, than the other females in the cast.

The bulky layers of the costumes and the camera lens do not help him, either. There might be ways to slenderize him, but the production crew didn't help. The camera makes his head look so big on my big TV screen. LOL

Gollum's Brother disappeared quickly. I am guessing that he will show up later.

He must have velcro on his face. How does the mask stay on his face? 🤣🤣🤣

I just watched watched ep 23 and 24. I didn't get the plot that Feng and Tang were hatching against Hu Fei. Did Tang give the house and servants to Hu, who then turned around, and sold the house and freed the servants, and fed the poor?

Shang Phantom of the Opera is so boring. He has no expression. Is it a case of bad acting, or just mask acting? Is Fu planning to kill the birth mother and husband, and proclaim the twins his biological sons? The female in his palace won't like the news.

I loved when Hu Fei and Lady Cheng dressed up in their new clothes. They were bathing in rose water, in the same bath sauna. Too funny!

I am disappointed that ep 24 ended. The six episodes this week zipped by quickly.

That was so disappointing. She was crying when they swore their oath to the Heavens.

I have heard Peter Ho's name somewhere, but have never seen his work before Fox Volant. He seems to occupy one-third of the screen. His character's pretentious acting is so fake.

I thought Nanlan and Tian Guinong, and Feng Father and Son were boring, but Scarface is more boring than them.

The fight sequences are cinematic quality.

We are all on the same page regarding Tian Guinong and Nanlan. Does MRF know that TGN has despised him for decades? I suspect that TGN put the poison on the sword to kill Hu Yidao, to frame him for the murder.
